Well that could be too. 8 years ago now, we had one heck of a wind storm here. People were out of power for days. We had none for three days, my parent were out for over a week. And that was nothing like a hurricane.

I know what you mean, sometimes our power goes out if the wind blows too hard, not often but every once in a while.

Hey KS and Jenn... I know what you mean about power going out. Ours does frequently too, but that storm 8 years ago was the worst one we had. We had an ice storm 2 years ago that knocked out power for nearly a day, but usually it is up and running in less time than that. This Gustav thing could have power out, and so much more for a lot longer.

ahhh it is just like a carnavil ride but with a lot of wind and your ears feel like they are going to pop right off your head you ought to come to kansas and go on a tornado tour they are a real rush
