I wasn't a fan of Dru but I would just FF through all her scenes. She was annoying but I just ignored her.

I watch both shows and sometimes do the same thing. Back in the day it was easy because AMC's Olivia has always been referred to as Livvie. Then the next thing you know they start calling Y&R's Olivia Liv and there it went for me!

My sentiments exactly.....she was a street urchin who never lived up to her sister.

She was an international model who created her own line for NE...I'd say she did quite well for herself!

LOL!! Olivia was the sister who couldn't keep a man! Nathan cheated on her with Keesha, Malcolm cheated on her with Callie I think her name was, and Wes just up and left. Oh and Brad stayed with Ashley...remember when she slept with Brad when she was treating Ashley for her cancer? Her best friend was snuggled up with Death and there was Olivia knocking boots with the poor woman's husband. I liked Olivia but she just didn't seem to do much.

Your opinion. I always considered her a drag - between many occasions when she left the show to exhibit her talents elsewhere. Sorry, but I do not miss her street talk "heffa" references - as I thought them crude.

Her vernacular was part of her CHARACTER!!! It gave the Dru depth and believability...my opinion!!! There are characters on this show who are far "cruder" than Dru! They lie, cheat, blackmail and murder...that's much worse than using slang...my opinion!

Absolutely! Victoria Rowell made the character of Dru believable. At the same time I wish her every success with her book - but like you and many more, I want her back with Neil. I want Joshua Morrow back as Nick - Nobody does him better. How about this as a twist: How about Victoria Newman kicking the Bradsky to the curb, he wanders off to soothe himself and finds a Drucilla without a memory??? Brad redeams himself with Neil, Olivia comes back to treat her sister, and uh Gloria and her new beau sail off into the sunset or the end of the earth... which ever comes first.
