I found the scenes in today's show between the witches of Newman Ranch and Mrs. Nicholas Newman to be thoroughly distasteful. I can't help but wonder how those scenes would have played out had Bill Bell still been around.

Since the death of Mr. Bell this show has lost any morality and most of the integrity it had. Phyllis is Nick's wife and she had every right to plan whatever type of service she wanted for HER husband, with or without ever discussing it with Vikki or Nikki. A fact that seemed to skate by the witches.

This all falls upon the shoulders of the writers of this show, not the actors. Phyllis definitely came out of that the better woman. She respected them and their grief enough to kowtow to their selfishness. Though I must say, I was hoping she would tell them both, I am Mrs. Nicholas Newman and I will plan my husband's services.

Whatever happened to, "The Newmans stick together no matter what. Nothing is more important than family." I guess a seat in the U.S. Senate is. (I hope Jack, in all his duplicitous glory, wins that Senate seat. At least he knows how to be remorseful. I despise Nikki!) Phyllis is going the way of Drucilla; Another strong woman made to look like a simpering weakling.

And I hope reports of a new daddy for Summer are greatly exaggerated. Nicholas and Phyllis are much more of a dynamic duo then he and man-eating Sharon could ever be.

MAN THIS SHOW IS BEING SLOPPILY WRITTEN LATELY.

The newmans backstab eachother ..why would an outsider be treated any differently...im not surprised by their actions...they are newmans after all...Phyllis and Sharon aren't "real" newmans.

You guys must have forgotten Sharon's history of men since she's been on Y&R. And now, here she is married to Jack, admitting she's in love with Brad, while holding warm thoughts of Nick and her.

Nicholas should come back and let Jack know about the time he found Brad and Sharon in the car. She looked at her husband and didn't even bat an eye at stopping what she and Brad were doing. Ugh!

This has been discussed ad infinitum...just about every character on this soap has had many partners, including Nicholas!

When did Zapato get hooked up?? Must be busy since we havent seen him
None of the characters are saints, its a fairy tale soap opera.... whether Nikki and Vikki are nice to Phillis makes no difference to me ~ I will still sleep tonight Now if some of this stuff from our beloved show was to happen in real life then the gloves would come off (totally making light of the craziness)

I agreed with everything you said till you called sharon man eating i think you mean Phylis all she and nick have is sex she broke up a good family and turned him into a little boy beaing led around by his you know what. sharon is a classy lady who mad emistakes but i don't think she intentionally hurt people as we all know phylis has done time and again Attempted murder and murder ets, blackmail the list goes asn don yes the writers are doing a terrible job but please stop bashing the good character. I know the actor are only doing what the writer are telling them an dnothing against the actors just the writers who have brought the show downhill.

I remember it well!! One man at a time has never been enough for Sharon.
