What about the flight crew? I haven't heard mention of them or their families by any of the Newman clan. My "significant other" is a corporate pilot, and I would hate to think if, God forbid, he ever went down that he would not be mentioned by his employer.

The Newman bunch wasnt even moved that Sharon wasnt killed once they found out Nick wasnt with her (with exception to Victor) so, for them to be mindful of the flight crew, is wishful thinking

hi blondie! If memory serves me correctly, I think Victor did mention something about the flight crew. I don't have a dvr or tivo, so I can't go back and verify, but I am sure someone on here does. It's funny you mentioned that, because I was suprised to hear Victor mention them. I am guessing he had the same flight crew for years. I am glad there was some mention of them!

I have a DVR but I watch then delete so I can't go back either. My "other", who watches Y&R too, commented on how quickly everyone assumed all were dead.

Since the accident I have found it starnge at how quickly they have accepted that Nick is dead. I don't recall them finding the plane wreckage or bodies or anything. Did I miss something? I don't usually record the shows when I watch them. Victor visited the 'crash site' whatever that means since there has been no talk of wreckage. They just said the plane dropped off radar. ???

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I think they stated that they believe it went down in the lake - but yeah, why aren't they still trying to recover the wreckage? Strange - I don't think you missed anything because I have watched everyday and what you stated is exactly what happened.

okay, thanks for confirming. I would have thought that Victor would have the world converged over the lake in full recovery operations...not finishing their bookcase and planning a memorial service....very strange!!!!

I totally agree - very, very strange!!!! Victor never accepts anything that easy - just doesn't fit the character at all.
