I think her feelings about Nick dying are real.... I don't think she is faking her breakdown.... And she doesn't need an insanity plea... From what Michael had told William....the jury would be on Phyllis' side... I know if I were on the jury and saw her with a baby...and learned that her husband was just killed... I wouldn't want her to go to jail... I think she'll get off with just community service....

what phyllis losting her husband have to do with her pending trial. If i was the jury or judge and she try that insanity or use her baby to tried and get away free i would give her double the original penalty.

I hope the jury doesnt use the 'baby' as 'ahhhhh she needs her mommy let's set her free or a milder sentence' because mommy dearest wasnt worried about that mess when she was doing her dirt

I'm thinking about when she was accused of aggravated arson and attempted murder of Diane. She had a nightmare in which several people she'd wronged over the years appeared inside her cell on an imposing witness stand to let her know how much they despised her and that they were hoping she'd receive the comeuppance she'd deserved for years.....I wonder what nightmare she will have this time....now that she's committed more criminal actions.

Using a breakdown and a child would not lead me to give her a change....as said she should have double punishment, because she's never changed.

Well Victor didn't get jail time for the wrong he did....he just got community service.... I don't think jail would be good for Phyllis....it would serve no purpose.

I totally agree with you - anyone with a heart would not send a widowed new mother to jail for a crime of which she is accused. I totally agree that her breakdown is not faked - she truely loved Nick and it is breaking her heart that she thinks she has lost him and Summer may grow up with neither of her parents around her. Heartbreaking to watch. Michelle is an excellent actress.

Given the past "Phyllis Thread" issues, I'm going to remind everyone to play nice and respect the opinions of others

So no matter what she has done just because she is a widow and a mommy she should do no time? hmm let me think of what i could do.

I think do the crime pay the time. just like Paris Hilton.
Martha Stewart did the crime and the time.

I think that Phyllis is really hurting, and that she loves Nick ~ but it doesnt have anything to do with the blackmail, she willfully did this and she should have to suffer the concequences. When you play with fire you might get burnt I say if she has changed so much, then she needs to suck it up and take her punishment. It would look much better on her to just admit that she was wrong and they might go light on her. MS is a great actress, but no more great than PB, it just depends on who you like more as to the fav. Given the fact that Phyllis is an all time criminal is the reason I find it hard to believe that a jury would feel pitty for this woman....mother or not....being a parent does not exempt you from punishment when you commit a crime...when you love someone and you have a young child you have a responsibility for being a good person and prevent yourself from all kinds of situation that could ruin your life and the one of your love ones.....

Well if Phyllis was given the same treatment in jail as Martha Stewart....then I would be all for it....
