i DON;T KNOW''?Idon't know about the laws in the US ''BUT i had hard time understanding todays ''show''.Nickii and Victora were planning Nicks Memorial but Philiss is his legal ''wife and sould be the one that has the first and last say about any arangememts''When your married your Parents have no Legal 'say on how things progress unless so said by the deseased'' It realey bothered me that Nikkii and Victoria never even took in to considertion Phshillis's feelings as they were planning Nicks'' memorial''she has the right to do what she sees fit ''by ''him'' and the way she''wants' |

Look at it like this....the Newmans are royalty...King Victor, Queen Nikki, Prince Nicholas and Princess Victoria are the only members of this royal family (Noah's included too and with the supposed death of his father he is the next male Newman heir in line). You may marry a royal but that gives you no right to delve into the business of the royal family. Also, just because you married into the family doesn't mean that you're family unless there is an actual blood tie. The blood tie is preferable as it assures that all wealth will remain in the family. Phyllis is just a commoner who was allowed to become an accessory for Prince Nicholas just as Brad is an accessory for Princess Victoria, however Brad was reluctantly allowed to marry the Princess. Phyllis is going to be shut out for a while. They might let her make a decision or two though but she shouldn't be surprised if icicles start forming at the tack house. |

And, if my husband died YESTERDAY, the last thing I would be worried about is trying to get off of a extortion charge. If I really lost the love of my life, the next day, I would say..."I'll will serve the six months and be a good mom after that". Not, "please raise my child, because six months is forever and I can't handle that...blah, blah, blah, it's all about me." Phyllis is a narcissist. |

Now she knows good and darned well that King Victor and Queen Nikki are not about to let their grand-princess be raised by the help! I mean, sending her off to the kitchen with Miguel is one thing but...to allow her to live outside the castle? With the HELP?!?! Have you gone mad? Any children born to/adopted by or kidnapped by a Newman is deemed to be a Newman with all rights and priviledges unless said child was sired by King Victor and a peasant woman. If the child was sired without the King's knowledge (as in the case of Duchess Abby Carlton), the King will confer with the Queen as to whether or not the child is acceptable. If the child is accpetable an invitation will be extended to the mother to drop the child off where she will spend her time falling from her new horse or reinacting conversations between her mother and uncle. |

Simply put? Summer is Newman property and Phyllis had better hope to heaven that Nick comes home before Victor and Nikki sue her for custody! Once she's in jail they might try to have her deemed an unfit mother...and with her history of losing Daniel...well...she just better hope Nick comes soon! Yep Nick better come back quick.
