Maybe Gloria found the ring in a pawn shop....and bought it and Michael finds it in her jewelry box...and it means nothing and it is just a coincidence that it ties in to Katherine...lol

All I can add is that the memory of Kay swaping the babies occurred when she came across a photo of herself wearing a ring, she thinks that she gave this ring to Violet (supposedly Cane's uncle's sister). I think she found a photo of Violet wearing the ring, but I'm not sure. Does anyone remember this. So it does have something to do with Jill's baby, but not sure exactly what and how it comes to be found by Michael.

I have said this numerous times before but this is my opinion. Professor Korbel will turn out to be Jill's son. I think Michael will see/find Katherine's ring and somehow find out that it belongs to her.

I remember when Kay saw the picture of Violet holding Cane wearing the "ring." She was convinced that Cane was Phillip because of the picture. They have yet to find dead Phillip's family. The SL has too many holes.
