I looked through threads to see if anything was stated about why Nick was leaving for a while. I know he is supposed to return.....but is he doing another gig for a while, or was it just the storyline for him to be missing. Sorry if this has already been talked about...but I couldn't find it.

I think it's storyline. I haven't heard anything else other than originally it was possible he wouldn't re-sign with Y&R so they came up with this story that they could pull in either direction in accordance with his decision.

Plus, Victor is leaving for a few weeks and this gives them a storyline to incorporate this.

Yah I cried the whole show today until I hit my computer too find out Nick is coming back. Don't let him and Phillyis break up thier relationship is hott!!!!!!

Yea, I didn't know about him leaving. I had read somewhere that possibly Sharon may leave the show but not Nick ? So I am in the dark also. I hated to see Dru leave. I guess I get used to seeing the characters day after day and when one leaves it seems like the show is somehow different.
