The person who started the whole mess....which lead to Neil's wife Dru to fall off the cliff and die........her husband now is presumed dead...Irony at its best.

If we are going to discuss who "started" the whole mess - I think the names Sharon and Brad are more appropriate than Phyllis.

Didn't Phiyllis and Nick sleep together before Brad and Sharon? If they never slept together, then Sharon and Brad may have never hooked up.

Nick and Phyllis slept together first - but Sharon has admitted that she loved Brad a long time before she slept with him - she told Nick about the time they kissed - she has been having an emotional "affair" with Brad for a long time which tells you that her love for her husband has been lacking for a long time.

I agree with you totally, NY. If Phyllis had not pursued Nick when he was grieving over Cassie's death, none of this would have happened. Of course, it was all in the hands of the writers!

Shows that she has character that she didn't use sex....also, she stopped after what she called a "mistake" in New York, so that she didn't break up Brad's marriage.
It's also ironic that the person who broke up her marriage was the one who may be breaking up Brad's marriage because she couldn't stop herself from using some info. that was overheard and confidential to do evil

Sharon may not have slept with Brad again, but it wasn't for lack of trying. And everytime you turn around, they are giggling and rubbing against one another. Brad and Sharon tell each other everything, including things they have promised to keep secret. Brad is continuously trying to run Sharon's life "leave Nick, don't marry Jack" blah, blah, blah all the while saying that he will not leave Victoria, and in the next breath telling Sharon he loves her. If I was Victoria, I'd left Bradley the first time I saw he and Sharon looking at each other with those sad, yearning puppy dog eyes. There were a lot of problems in Sharon and Nick's marriage. The main one was everytime they are in a crises, they turn to other people, not each other. That's where the blame for their failed marriage lies.

Phyllis is not to blame for all the wrong in GC. There's plenty of blame to go around.

Even if Sharon loves Brad, she won't act upon it again and she's told him that. Unlike Phyllis, Sharon learned from her mistake, and has expressed that to Brad, Nick, etc.
Phyllis isn't to blame for all the wrongs of GC, but she has had a hand in much destruction. I won't repeat the long list of her "sins" as it's been posted many times before. But, if you start with her tricking Danny into thinking Daniel was his, and end with her not telling the truth about Dru's fall, it's quite a list unrivaled by most in GC.

If Brad and Vikki's marriage does break up - it will definately be Sharon who broke it up. If she didn't want to break up Vikki and Brad's marriage - she should not have slept with him in NY and first of all she should not have tried to talk him out of marrying Vikki in the first place.

I'm sure I can think of a few others that have done things would rival that list - Nikki, Victor, Brad, Jack, Jill, Katherine, Michael, Nina. Dru was not always an angel either.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

The point I was trying to make was Neil lost his wife.....and now Phyllis lost her husband......

If Phyllis wasn't taunting Sharon at the shoot...Dru wouldn't have had to come to Sharon's defense...... thats all. And now Phyllis will know how Neil was feeling.

That's so true...poor Neil The plot twists, even though contract negotiations dictacted (in this case) are quite amazing! I just wonder if this will have an affect on this character so that she has empathy for Neil now that she's in the same position as he is.
