there are a lot of phyllis haters out there... i like her character a lot, and i love her and nick together... they are indeed a hot couple on daytime right now (besides carly and sonny on general hospital)... sorry don't mean to cross soap... anyways, i would love for phyllis and nick to have some happyness for a change... she is a really good actress otherwise the viewers wouldn't hate on her so much... all nick and phyllis lovers band together... |

All that's required here is common sense. Do people get fired for doing a good job? Do you bring in a whole new team of writers to write the same show that was written by the writers you FIRED? How smart does a person have to be to figure this out? The part about the fans still being here? It's funny you should mention that. Today I read a thread (which is still there)on the Sony Y&R Board for Aug. 1995 soap ratings. It is stunning how much the audience for soaps has decreased. The two bottom rated soaps Another World and Loving are gone but the 7th ranked show Guiding Light had a rating of 4.4! That's the rating Y&R gets now when they are lucky. Y&R's rating in 1995 was 7.3! Another well-reasoned post!! |

Anadea ~ I was making a statement, there have been several times I have written the same thing to anohter poster for the same thing  I was not writing as an edit, from a moderator, I was simply writing what came to mind when I was reading the thread. Seems to me that some posters need to realize this is fantasy and not get so defensive about whats written Anyone can take what is written on other sites and see it totally different than the way it was intended to be perseived. |

Y&R's rating in 1995 was 7.3! I never said you KNEW them, I asked you IF you knew them, just because you read something on another site doesnt cast it in stone  . This thread is about Phyllis Haters not the writters and the ratings ~ lets get back on topic
