Nick easily forgave Phyllis for sleeping with Jack. Frankly I don't think there was anything to forgive/ Nick had left her and Phyllis and Jack reached out to each other at a time when they were both left alone and hurting.

My question is if he can understand why Phyllis did what she did, where does he get off putting all the blame on Jack? There is such a thing as "But for" What I mean by that is but for Nick's actions of leaving Phyllis and going to Sharon JAck and Phyllis would not have been left alone and hurting. They would not have felt the need to comfort each other and this never would have happened. I think if anyone is to blame for it it's Nick and Sharon. They are the ones that made the choice to leave their spouses and have an affair and then start talking about becoming a family themselves.

But I will say it goes way back to where it all began.

You really can't move on in any relationship until you dealt with the issues that separated you in the first place.

Sharon and Nick never dealt with any of their issues and Jack and Phyllis both knew that. All of them put themselves into the situation for letdown/failure.

Somebody said earlier that Nick is like a dog.."territorial."

Personally, I think he's being an Ass! He was off at the GCAC doing the do with Sharon. I didn't like that at all. Although I prefer Nick with Sharon,what they did was wrong and no good was going to come of it, IMO. The writers threw them together too haphazardly for me to have ever gotten excited. Eventually I believe they will get together and they're status will be permanent or as permanent as these things go in Soaps. Until then, Nick's going to continue to be a number one Ass in a major way.

Great post Tellitlikeitis,I don't know why Nick has the nerves to blame Jack for everything when he has been getting a free pass for alongtime, what he needs to do is work on his own problems like being faithful to a women.

Is it me or does he come off acting like he is "top dog". Who gave him the title. Nick is a pathetic excuse of a man.

Well ladies we can all agree he is a dog, wishy washy (I do agree with your post Moniker) and deserves the title for his behavour.

And Nick should put some of the blame on Phyllis, too. Why is it that the writers consistently have her get away with things? She slept with Jack, tells her husband, then immediately turns it back on him! And how stupid is Nick (rhetorical question)?
I'm so disgusted with this constant "poor me, I'm just a victim" moniker that these inept writers have given to Phyllis. They're all to blame, and that means she it too!
