The Young and the Restless - MESSAGE BOARDS

I know everyone is caught up in the part of Lane's story that involves Mac being a surrogate, but I was wondering what role if any, Dr. Emily will play in Lane's story. Dr. Emily talked to Lily and they seemed to have a good conversation. Cane asked for her card. So with this I wonder will Lily become doctor Emily's patient. I could definitely see Lily (with all that she's lost and been through) and Cane needing therapy. Before the surrogacy happens will Lily have to make a break through with Dr. Emily (who may turn out to be Patty)? I'm just curious. Does anybody else have thoughts on this?

Perhaps she may want to be a Surrogate for Lily, and Dr. Emily and Neil get close...well i can dream can't I

If Dr Emily is the "real deal" - a physician/shrink..maybe she will have Lily come to terms with why she graves a baby so badly at such a critical time in her life and make her see how immature and selfish this decision is.

At first I didn't think the writers would go the route of Patti doing something to get rid of the good doctor temporarily. But the way she is pining over Jack, wanting to see him so bad and no visits from Jack. I wonder will she break out just to see him. Patti then pretending to be Dr. P. Now that would be something to see her listening to all of Lily's problems pretending to be the Doctor. I remember Patty giving Cane some advice at the bar on whether to stay or whether to run. Cane asked her if she was a shrink. They were giving us a clue even back then.

I would like to see it where Lily would have some regular sessions with the real Dr. P and work through all the difficulties that she and Cane have gone through. But these writers don't care about the individual character so no character building. Only plots to make a point. So the only visit we'll see between Lily and the good Doc wil probably be in the hospital.
