How Long Before The Real Phyllis Emerges??

How long before the "real" Phyllis comes out to play?? The new Phyllis has been showing some signs of cracking and I am just waiting for the snake to shed its skin. I am sure that she has super high blood pressure trying to hold her mean self in. I loved it when she freaked and cut up Sharon's intimates. That's a piece of the real Phyllis. Is she close to whigging out??? |

I agree, the real Phyllis never left the building. However, she is faking being nice a little too much. I've enjoyed Phyllis the most in her early crazy days and that is when she got the most accolades and attention. MS is great at acting that out. I really cannot stand 'nice' Phyllis, it just doesn't feel right. |

This is Phyllis people. We love to hate her and she's been boring for a while. This stepford wife role just doesn't fit her. Will the real Phyllis please stand up? ITA, Moniker! I would SO love to see the old Phyllis return. I for one loved the way she used to terrorize and threaten people to get her way, and God help anyone that got in her way. Every soap has to have a nasty, mean spiteful character and I think that Phyllis fits this to a "T". Kudos on the stepford wife comment! I do like the fact that while TPTB have redeemed Red, I still like the old Phyllis that pokes out from time to time. Now mind you, that is not enough for me, but I am glad that the audience still can see parts of her true character seep through her fake facade. Time for Hide and Seek to be over . . .olly-olly oxen free, come out, come out where ever you are!!!

A sick psychopath always one....she won't emerge she's still is who she was.....the writers have badly fail to have viewers accept her any other way. |

Michael knows, he has to reel her in every now and then to keep her from committing murder. But even he throws his hands in the air from time to time. She is a loose cannon. I can't wait to see her meet her match, even if she is in a mental hospital. Or the doctor. |

I think that the real Phyllis is who you are seeing. The Phyllis of twenty years ago no longer exists anymore. While I know that it would serve the purpose of those fans who don't like her to see her as someone that she just isn't anymore, it won't change the fact that Nick loves her. Truth is, Phyllis is a character of many colors and dimensions. She is everyone of the expressions that you see. That is what makes her so fascinating. Phyllis moves and grows. The can express all of who she is, but the character of twenty years ago is just gone and it would probably be more realistic and it would make more sense to just see her the way she is written to be. |
