How long before the "real" Phyllis comes out to play?? The new Phyllis has been showing some signs of cracking and I am just waiting for the snake to shed its skin. I am sure that she has super high blood pressure trying to hold her mean self in. I loved it when she freaked and cut up Sharon's intimates. That's a piece of the real Phyllis. Is she close to whigging out???

The Real Phyllis never left the building she been faking it till she make it but Taking her - up their to Patty's Pad, may have let a can of whip - out for crazy cakes, remember Phyllis don't know Patty seen her getting -, I can't wait to see her world Detonate may the count down begin.

I agree, the real Phyllis never left the building. However, she is faking being nice a little too much. I've enjoyed Phyllis the most in her early crazy days and that is when she got the most accolades and attention. MS is great at acting that out. I really cannot stand 'nice' Phyllis, it just doesn't feel right.

I would like her to return to old form soon. I know people were speaking of progression of character, but come on! This is Phyllis people. We love to hate her and she's been boring for a while. This stepford wife role just doesn't fit her. Will the real Phyllis please stand up?

A sick psychopath always one....she won't emerge she's still is who she was.....the writers have badly fail to have viewers accept her any other way.

I think that the real Phyllis is who you are seeing. The Phyllis of twenty years ago no longer exists anymore. While I know that it would serve the purpose of those fans who don't like her to see her as someone that she just isn't anymore, it won't change the fact that Nick loves her. Truth is, Phyllis is a character of many colors and dimensions. She is everyone of the expressions that you see. That is what makes her so fascinating. Phyllis moves and grows. The can express all of who she is, but the character of twenty years ago is just gone and it would probably be more realistic and it would make more sense to just see her the way she is written to be.

The real Phyllis (Not the Stepford Wife she plays now), will come out as soon as Nick and Sharon realize Faith is alive and well. When Nick tries to run back to Sharon (like he always does because she's still his one and only true love), Phyllis will unleash her true self on Nick and Sharon and all of Genoa City, once again.

Phyllis is always Phyllis but TOMORROW, she comes ALIVE again.

I mentioned one other time in a different post, but it is probably bears repeating.

As far as Phyllis is concerned:

A snake is a snake no matter how many times it sheds its skin.

She may not go ALL the way back to the old Phyllis, but she has already shown signs of her inner psychotic like when she cut up Sharon's nighties!

TPTB have a GOLD MINE in the old Phyllis. They will bring her back it is just a matter of time and storyline dictation.

Now I understand that people can change, but Phyllis was spiteful, nasty and downright meaner then chit. And she didn't care WHO or WHAT got in her way. That kind of deep-seeded personality does not go away completely. I would think that in the real world she would be in continous therapy to help keep the inner voice quiet. Now we all know that Phyllis HAS NOT been in therapy, therefore sooner or later, the voices WILL get louder and she WILL act upon them.
