Ashley buying up Chancellor stock is part of her BIGER plan she is putting in place to try and take over Newman.

Ashley better run for the hills when Victor gets back. She's no match for him. Guess I should add Adam in the running too. Oh that's right he has a driver

It doesn't really matter what Ashley does now because the minute she finds out that Faith isn't her baby she will lose it and end up in a padded cell next to Pattycakes. There is no way that she will be able to run NE or run her own life for that matter. Ashley feels high and mighty now but it will all come crashing down around her when that little girl is taken away...

Is it Ashley's intention to buy stock for Newman? I thought she may be wheeling and dealing to get back Jabot stock. I'm thinking Jack has the same thing in mind once he has figured out what Katherine is up to by going public with Chancellor.

By issuing an IPO - Initial Public Offering....Katherine stand to make millions and millions for herself and Chancellor. An infusion of cash will allow her to initiate a hostile takeover of Jabot....she will be the main shareholder - majority shareholder with 51% - of all issues. Whatever Ashley attempts to buy she cannot buy all that are issued..there are SEC regulations prohibiting that. But Ashley can still buy enought to cause a few wrinkles in Katherines plans...not as a Newman Board Member but as a private citizen using her own funds to become a major player by buying up a few blocks of stock.
If the takeover is a success, Ashley will also be a large shareholder in Jabot...if not THE LARGEST! Then little Jabot can eat big fish...NE!!! She thinks! Ohhhhh this is gonna be good....and with Adam to help her....Little Nicky is WAY OVER HIS HEAD. Tucker anyone? Hey Victor....phone home.

Well I do think Ashley is getting a head of herself
having Sharon's baby has really turned Ashley slowly in to a mini sneak; Like Victor? The only good thing that I hope comes out is she finds out what a creep Adam is and what he has done!!

This is all going to blow up in Ashley face.
Victor will be back at the end of November. And all hell is about the break out.

Isn't it interesting that Ashley is sticking it to "Jackie" with her scheme. How did she go from crazy, having a baby, wanting to take care of her girls, being so strong after being unstable for such a long time and now schemeing to buy as many stocks she can and probably have Adam handle her "estate"?

On another thought, is Ashley going to buy stock before her divorce? Wouldn't Victor then be entitled to half since they are still married?

After all, Ashley felt she was entitled to Victor's home (the one he's owned forever) in the divorce and they haven't been married long enough (one year soap opera time clock)for her to put her hands on his home or anything prior to their marriage. The home and much more shouldn't have to be considered in court. Hasn't anyone been divorced in this soap? LOL Another unrealistic s/l!

I kind of like the direction this s/l is going and hope she can get control of Jabot but of course once Ashley find out Faith is not her daughter, she will flip out and Jack will take over the company.

Ashley better be careful! Victor's character is
going to come back stronger and even better than before.
All hell is going to break loose once her returns
to GC. He's going to reek havoc on Jack, Ashley, Gloria,
Jeffery. I gaurantee the list goes on and on and on.
I see the storylines leading that way. It should
be really good.

Sorry some of you missed the point that Katherine said she is not putting all of Chancellor stock on the market she will retain at least 51 percent of the stock. And for anyone thinking that Chancellor is smaller than Newman should think again Katherine is Also a multi billionaire like Vic. Just more low key . So Ashley can buy as much as she wants she will not be able to take Jabot back.
