Lately it doesn't seem like Billy and Mac have been getting along and if she decides to be a surrogate for Lily, I think it will send Billy running. I can't believe Mac would make a decision like this without talking to Billy first. The relationship is doomed if you ask me, but maybe I am wrong.

I think that it will totally cause a rift in their relationship. I think that Billy will want to help Lily but in the end this decision will be the end. He will probably react badly to her making that decision to have her first baby for someone else and that will be the end. I guess we will have to wait and see but I am hoping for an end to Mac and Billy, they are just too different and such a bore for me. Oh well!

I think it's great that Mac is so selfless!

I think Chance and Mac make a better couple anyway. Both are far more mature than Chloe and Billy and would be able to live there lives free of drama. Unfortunately, drama is what soaps are all about. LOL!

I think Billy being the capitalist pig he is will use Mac's kind act to sell magazines!

KC11 you may be on to something. I could see Billy perhaps wanting to feature the surrogate story in his mag, but then I could see him putting a twist on the story and including things about Cane ( for revenge) maybe. As for Mac and Billy I don't think it was ever meant for them to stay together. And I wonder if Mac will change once she gets pregnant.

I see the writers attaching Mac to Cane and Lily for exposure to fans and thus hopefully enhancing her popularity with the viewers. Any positive reactions or interactions to this character couldn't hurt. She has not found her way on Y&R yet. As for Billy, this is the writers way of engaging Billy into another set of confrontational battles with Cane. The writers like the rivalry but I think that relationship is dead. It will never be as good as the sibling rivalry that they had going in the past year. The PC3 rewrite killed it! I suppose Mac to be the plot point to revivie it!! What a joke! I really don't like the idea of a surrogate, but there is no other choice right now. Will Mac and Billy survive this? It is anybody's guess where the writers are going with this plot point.

I want some human stories--not plot points!!! No storyline is fully explored or developed; we jump from event to event. The writers seem to be still grasping for any idea that might capture viewers attention.

While I am at it, I might as well point out that Inspector Clouseau getting stabbed and arriving at the hospital while the Chancellor clan was FINALLY there to support Lily and Cane was also a thinly disguised plot point. Its purpose is to shine some light on this dull character and to put Delia's mom back into the picture. Timing is everything. This guy's stabbing should have been a totally separate incident taking place at a later time so that the Chancellor clan could band at the hospital and bond with him ONLY. He and Delia's mom should bond at a time that is more appropriate and supportive of their cause. I cannot even feel sympathetic to the cause here. Both the bark and the bite has been subdued and/or taken from Nina when it comes to protecting her son from the little shark. The writers should have focused on the fireworks a lot more so that the stabbing/hospitalization/surgery/recuperation would be more effective. There is not much to the whole set of events right now b/c there really is no closeness or real relationship between the two characters--Chloe & Chance. But that is just the way I see it.

If Chance and Cane become friends of a sort b/c they are attached to the same family, guess what else happens!
