Why does Phyllis always come out ahead of Sharon?

We'll have to agree to disagree Gencor, because phyllis is not an independent woman. This is the same woman who camped herself out on Shack's couch for several days in her star trek dress because she couldn't deal w/things. She always running to Michael for every little thing, and then most recently Jack (to comfort her on the tacky couch which MJ saw) As for not needing Nick, if this was true she would have cut him loose and put him out after all he's done to her. She's not someone who toughens up and moves on, she wallows in bitterness and anger at things she feels are perceived wrongs against her (Christine, Sharon, Dru) when in fact these situations are of her own making because she butts into other peoples lives/marriages w/not though but herself. This is the same woman who helped Brittany set up Mac to find her and Billy on the couch. That was Red's idea and for what? Just because she's a bitter, hateful meddling hag of a woman.

I'm sorry I don't see where's she changed up until just a few months ago we saw her setting up Jack so she could meddle in his relationship w/Sharon. She needs to be content w/her life and where she's at but she just never seems to be. She's anything but fascinating, she's tired played out character.

Phyliss is a very strong and independent women she dose not need nick she just wants him for some reason.phyliss dosen't trust anyone its just her nature.

I also think sharon is a strong women she has been through alot of horrible things in her life and has picked up and moved on she is a very trusting women which dosen't make her weak just different,she will learn after adam not to trust so easily. IMO

Phyllis doesn’t come out ahead of Sharon that woman has always been Stiff Seconds or a Dirty Third whether it’s with men or business, that’s why she remains in attack mode her life has always been very unstable.

Sharon is with Adam b/c he was there. She always has to have a man to feel complete. Phyllis comes out ahead b/c she is wiser.

Sharon did not stand to be used. Sharon relinquished wanting the abuse. Sharon was hurt by Nick, but she is no longer married to him Phyllis is. Phyllis was left by Nick and he reconciled briefly with Sharon and Sharon ushered him to be with his wife & daughter because Summer was ill. Therefore, Phyllis excused his behaviors and acted very much like she was in favor of what he did. If Phyllis is a strong independent woman, why are so many drawing upon examples that she is not. Sharon does not accept being Nick's door mat and kicks him to the curb. Phyllis does not, therefore that cancelles the notion that she is strong. Sharon gets hurt, she moves on and is a survivor. Phyllis makes herself get hurt by her own manipulations and being a victimizer, and she is a doormat. I would like to hear about how and what makes Phyllis strong and independent.

There is no showing on the program that suggests Sharon and Adam are a couple, Sharon is not with Adam, they are friends. Nick is married to Phyllis who is an ex convict, attempted murderer, adulteror, manipulator, ect. if Sharon were to date or remain friends with Adam, what makes Sharon/Adam's relationship any different than Nick/Phyllis?

Sharon told nick to be there for phyliss and summer while his daughter was sick not to recommit to her nick choose to do that on his own sharon was not happy about that and would take nick back at any time if he wanted to same as phyliss, phyliss told nick he did not have to stay with her but he pushed the issue and wanted phyliss both women are weak when it comes to nick,that has nothing to do with phyliss being a smart and independent women she can take care of herself without a man she always has.

Sharon is healthy as of now and has rented her and Noah a manor to live in, that is a mature mother. Sharon & Adam are friends, she is not involved romantically as of now with any man, I am not sure what makes for Sharon being an unhealthy mother to her child, when Nick is married to Phyllis who was deemed unfit in a court of law, ex convict, attempted murderer, ect. different? Sharon ws unhealthy most of the year and now she is better and very much capable of taking care of her and her son Noah. I see nothing wrong as of now.

She "always has to have a man to feel complete"? Why, then, did she send the love of her life, Nick, back to Phyllis and Summer when Summer was in the hospital, when it was more than evident that he would have stayed with her
Phyllis isn't "wise". "Wise" people don't manipulate, lie and commit crimes to get what they want, only needy demented people do.

Sharon also manipulated the situation to her benifeit when she lied about the babys paternity no matter what her reason is it was wrong and she had no intention in telling the love of her life it was his child,that was wrong no matter how you put it.

Sharon is by herself as of now, without a man. Sharon never used any man and or get them by manipulations or out of her own self-indulgence, that is Phyllis who destroys marriages to those who were not on track, but still in love. Phyllis has never been in a relationship that was not an affair, by her own doing and or manipulations of those said men to keep them and accept being a doormat.
