Talk about insider trading. Jack tells Ashley to buy up as much Chancellor stock as she can. Ashley says she isn't getting in on his take over of a company, BUT she apparently calls her broker and buys CI stock any way. That my good friends is insider trading at it's best, or worst depending on which side you are on. I'm sure ol Jackie boy will be buying up stock to, in hopes to be able to get back control of Jabott. Now Jack has inticed Ashley to break the law again. |

not insider trading Kay did not tell Jack she was taking Chancellor public. Jill and Kay both said not to tell Jack. |

Quote gramie: not insider trading Kay did not tell Jack she was taking Chancellor public. Jill and Kay both said not to tell Jack. Still insider trading because Jack works in the same offices and had first hand knowledge, even though Kay denied it. If you know before a company goes public and you purchase large amounts of stock or tell some one else to purchase the stock as soon as it does go public than that is insider trading. |

He did not have first hand knowledge, He did not know for sure, He took an educated guess. I still do not see any wrong doing. In a court of law Kay's denial to Jack should be enough. |

No it is not, because it wasn't a publicly traded company before. I could bury Jack with his knowledge. Jack told Ashley that CI was going public and to buy as much stock as possible. When CI does go public that is insider trading. Knowledge before the fact, educated guess or not, he screwed up, just ask Martha |

Wouldn't there be an Initial Public Offering ("IPO") and press releases before the share were actually available for purchase? I don't think figuring it out on your own before the information is made public really qualifies as "insider information", it's not like anyone actually told him. It seems like a very grey area to me.... |

Lady53, I will agree with you because you have made it known that you are a lawyer. Jack only figured it out because he was suspicious of Kay and Jill's actions. Joe Public wouldn't have any knowledge as yet. |

I think that it is a given that Jack is gonna buy up some stock, but I don't think that he can do much until it does officially go public and they look like they are prepared for him to make a move. The one I have my eye on, however, is Ashley. She has an agenda and she is holding her cards mighty close. |

You are right Gencor, Ashley IS the one to keep an eye on. She didn't waste any time jumping up from the table to go talk privately on her cell phone did she? |

well jack and jill may not be a team but i will settle with the battle scenes and them being civil!!!! i would like to see jack make imporvement in his business skill and get control of a company. i think jack is smart he is not perfect either!! i love him even if he messes up. |

jJack will not suceed in taking back Jabot if that is his plan. Katherine will retain 51% of the stock once it goes public. Bad idea Jackie.....you should know Katherine will have all of her Is dotted and Ts crossed. |
