The Young and the Restless - MESSAGE BOARDS

Cane's breakdown at the end of today's US show completely caught me off-guard. That was a very intense scene!

Puddy, you are right it was very intense. It is hard to see a grown man cry. He was just breaking my heart. I was wondering when he would have a breakdown. He has been going through this with Lily being her strength and yet having absolutely no one to talk to. I knew at some point he had to show some weakness. I also liked that Neal called Jill for him. So happy she still thinks of herself as his Mother. He really needs the support of his family to get him through this.

I found myself tearing up while watching it. Very powerful. Now that's some good writing for a change.

Honestly. I don;t like Cane or Lily and usually ff most of their scenes. I did see Neil call Jill and I saw Cane's breakdown and I was moved to shed a couple of tears myself.

To me, DG is awesome everytime he is on my screen, no matter what he is doing, but today, he was extra, extra awesome...everytime I watch his breakdown, I cry right along with him...the man can simply act his butt off, he is such a powerful actor when given good material...gotta give CK her props as well, she is no slouch either in her scenes......

DG was excellent in that scene! He can convey so much with just a look. It was such a surprised to see him fall apart like that. But he has been holding so much in, it was bound to happen. Neil was quite right to phone Jill.

I was very moved by his scene.The emotions were all bottled up and he needed to just let go like that.He was wonderful and yes he had me bawling like a baby.Well done DG.

Not much of a Cain fan but I thought he did a superb job today. I too found myself crying. And I am glad that Neil called Jill.

It was awesome. Cane has been being strong for Lily and finally the flood gates opened. Loved that Neil sensed that Cane needed his mum. Tomorrow will be even more moving according to the recap!
