What s/l's would you do away with all together?
Baby switches, creating long lost children & siblings out of nowhere, women who fall to pieces over infertility, miscarry, dna switches & changes, changing soap history that fails to take in past s/l .

I think out of all the soaps Y& R is far mnore realistic, but I hate these drawn out baby switches. They've been doing these since the beggining of soaps. They could be more creative, or at least not draw it out for years.
I don't like Eden & Ryder being unneeded siblings who pop up w/in a year of each other. I'm sick of women like Ash who already have a child (a needy one too) , is super rich, educated ect....to be drtiven insane & not relize she miscarried & did not have a baby. I want Lily to say it's okay I'm never having kids. I didn't rerally want that. I'm happy w/ Cane. I'm into my education. I'll start a dance studio for needy kids under my mother's name etc.......
I'm tired of dna tests like Jill coming up twice that she is Kay's daughter & suddenly it's not true.
I'm sick of soap history b eing ignored, or changed Jack & Patty couldn't of been teenagers when they married./ Jack had to be in his 20's after returning from the war. Veitnam war ended in 1974. Jack must be at least 55 or older.

Anyways what would you do away with?

The s/l that I would do away with is the baby switch only because I'm sick of people going on about it.
I would also get rid ot the triangle between Nick/Phyllis and Sharon. Those 3 gag me. I can't stand to watch them anymore.

there is afew story lines that i would love to see be done away with,,
the baby switching is # 1, sharron needs her baby and ashley must be really insane if she hasent figured out that she didnt have a baby, writers please give us women some credit here,
the 2nd storyline that i want to go away is ADAM, i can not stand his sneaky lieing ways, i just hope sharron dosent get hurt with this , i've grown to like sharron and finally the story line of the 3 dio's- phylis, nick and sharron, let sharron get on with her life with someone new

THE WRITERS!

It's a tie between the baby stealing s/l and the Nick and Phyllis affair/subsequent marriage.

I'd go back 4 years ago and undo this whole phick mess. IMHO, that is when the show started doing it's free-falling. Too many characters were butchered to put that affair-age together. Nothing has been right since from sl's to other couplings. Phyllis should have been left to just be the mistress w/the fallout, her and Jack struggling to work past it. Nick and Sharon working it out or just divorcing but then reuniting. Instead the phick coupling was forced, contrived, unbelievable and now because of it all, Nick is dumbed down and emasculated, Phyllis is a stepford wife. Sharon had to be shown as crazy and weak pining for Nick. Jack had to be stuck there in the middle putting up w/all the mess too.

WORST SL ever in YR history, imho.

1.) Adam and the entire sick, sadistic s/l from the time Chris Engen left the role
2.) Disgusting Phick
3.) Maria Bell, Hogan Sheffer, and Scott Hamner.

Horrible, horrible, horrible.

mac mac shes is such a bore i wish shes would sell the bar and just leave town shes doesn't do much for the soap shes is
boring i cant believe shes is Brock Reynolds daughter shes is
totally nothing like him and he couldn't wait to get away from hers when he had left he couldn't run fast enough from hers

Rewriting characters backgrounds to bring long forgotten characters back to town. I still dont get the point of PC3 coming back to GC other than to de-Chancellor-ize Cane. Let the dead stay dead!
