I so like this Young Man he grows on you if you look at it he's one of the cleanest Young Men on the show except for that one time with Tyra have yet to understand that s/l??? they some what damage his person by doing that, then the next thing you know Poo ooh! Tyra's gone, so what did that mean Ummm, strange, oh well they had her looking like a old woman with that big wig and ugly clothes (That is not who Tyra is by know means, for goodness sake the Woman "Won Americas Next Top Model" did we even see her Figure at all, or how Pretty she is? WoW! sorry got of the Subject a little, But how about more Devon but please writers don't let him get mix-up with Kavin and his gang.

Devon's character is okay, but BORING. Does he still have a secret crush on Lily???

His personality is very much like Neils. You wouldn't know that he is not a bio Winter by the way he acts.

Devon is so boring. Hey they should put him together with Mac. Then they can both go off and do mission work and he can sing and make money for the mission.

I loved seeing Roxy and Devon today. I am really getting interested in their romance. The scene outside the bookstore where he kissed her was so beautiful. I really need to see them weave Deavon into other storylines and interact with others in GC. Frankly I don't care if he gets involved with Kevin or even Deacon, someone else in GC other than Lily and Cane. They sat in CL today for a long time and no one else came up to say hi or even have a conversation with them. Maybe they could have had Jana or Kevin or even Amber come up to them and ask how Lily was. They never interact with anyone other then the other AAs in GC. Whenever Chloe or Billy are in CL they are always running into one of the other cast mates and end up have some trivial convo about nothing. But not Roxy and Deavon. I cannot figure out why the writers consistently segregate them from the rest of the cast. Makes me scratch my head!

And I bet you guys think Billy is interesting. Well since he writes his own scripts he can be a little more entertaining then Deavon. Oops my bad an actor can only act out what is written in the script. Deavon would not be boring if they would put as much effort in writing for him as they do golden boy. These writers deliberately dumb down some and put great effort to make others on the canvas stars.

Well, Devon is graduating from college in spring, 2010, so he's available for more interesting s/l than just a college students (his current gig!)

Also, Neil said he would pay for Devon's studio sessions to make a CD (I think). Guess that means more Bryton singing...nice.

Do you think Neil will turn over Indigo to Devon to run when Devon graduates? Combines business with music which is what both want for Devon. Neil's too busy with Chancellor Industries going on the public stock exchange.

oh i'm sure she will be back and pregnant just after dru shows up... and who will the daddy be?...lol

The writers really did a disservice to Devon's character. I liked him at first. He was a little boring, but he was a good kid. Thought it was a bit odd to have him lusting after Lily, but hey, he hadn't known Lily for all that long. So I'll give him a pass on that.

But the Tyra thing completely tarnished his character. Not just for cheating, because almost all characters on soaps cheat. He cheated with his aunt. No, it turns out, they weren't blood related, but he knew her his ENTIRE life as his aunt. Just because they are not blood doesn't make her any less his relative. Drucilla and Devon aren't related by blood, only by a piece of paper, but if they got busy that would be totally disgusting. So the same goes for a woman he's known his entire life.

So for him to be attracted to her a few mere weeks after he finds out they aren't blood is beyond creepy. He had to have been harboring feelings for his Aunt for quite sometime. It makes him seem like he has a history of this type of thing, which is gross, especially if you include his feelings he had for Lily.

Then, its a matter of who he cheats with. His father's girlfriend. He was fuming mad over what Tyra did to Karen and Neil's marriage. He talked to her all kinds of crazy. Then he hops in bed with her. Another reason for me to think he had been harboring this attraction for his aunt.

And let's also examine the circumstances of which he cheated. Most people cheat because of bad circumstances around them.

Victoria cheated because she thought JT was cheating.

Amber cheated on Daniel because she thought he was cheating on the Road.

Nick cheated because he lost his child and he's still in love with Sharon.

Nikki cheated on Victor because he wasn't supporting her Senate race.

Neil cheated on Karen because he was never really in love with Karen to begin with.

What was Devon's reason??????????????

Yeah, that's right, he had none. He was just attracted to his Aunt, so he went for it. And that I find disgusting.

I'm not saying his character is redeemable, just not right now. And for that, I blame the writers.

I don't care much for Devon I think Roxy can do much better. Devon is boring and I see alot of spark in Roxy. I liked him when him and Dru were in the same s/l. So unless Dru comes back I don't see much hope for him.JMO

They could let the new comer Tucker be her sugar daddy!!!!!!!!!! I'm just saying

I am going to be as delicate as I can when I say this. There are Characters on Y&R that are valuable and some that are not as valuable as others. They will not risk a pairing with a valuable character and a not so valued character. Therefore you will never see Billy with anyone other than Mac or Chloe or Heather. You never see JT with anyone other maybe Mac or Victoria. Devon is not one of their valuable characters nor is Roxy and that is why there will be no new mates for either of these two. Roxy and Devon are valuable to me and I love them but not who Y&R want to promote are take time in giving them their own story line and they definitely would never give Roxy, JT or Billy their golden boys to date.
