The Young and the Restless - MESSAGE BOARDS

In Monday's (or maybe it was Tuesday's) episode, Nick received two flower arrangements, while he made himself at home in Victor's office. The first was already there and he read the card outloud, something to the effect of "So you are the Number One man now, or whatever.) He didn't read who they were from.

Then a secretary brought in another arrangment - - he read the card and said nothing, but looked strange.

Just wondering who you all think they were from, because they made a point of both of these flower arrangments.

Anybody notice or have any ideas? Thanks.

I noticed that too puddycat. I thought the first one might be from Phyllis but the second one was definitely a mystery. Obviously, some thing important will come out of this.

I thought the first one was probably from Phyllis too. Although I waited all episode for Phyllis to barge in and "christen" Nick's new temporary business digs with him. That is certainly her MO. Didn't happen. . .yet

I agree, I thought the first ones were from Red but the other ones i'm not sure about, maybe Kay. I did think at the time though that because he also looked at Victor's picture again hanging on the wall then looked around the room that just maybe he was feeling a bit overwhelmed or wondering if he really wanted to be doing this all on his own.

What I was thinking was that he was very rude to the secretary that brought them in. He didn't acknowledge her in any way, hello...kiss my butt...thank you. Nothing. Kind of like Victor was still sitting in that chair. He was rude before he read the card. So that couldn't be the reason.

LOL the way he just tossed that card to the side the flowers may have come from Adam.

I was thinking they were from co-workers or board members. I assumed if the first arrangement was from Phyllis, or even Victor, it would have pointed that out. The 2nd arrangement came after Adam told Nick he couldn't fill Victor's shoes and not to get comfortable in his chair because he wouldn't be there long so Nick was just kinda frustrated with the conversation and was probably like 'great, more flowers'

I'm so glad these scenes bothered others, because I thought it was really weird they didn't show who the 2nd bouquet was from but made it such a point to show it. I hate when they do that because now a days i can't tell when it's important or when it's just a stupid unimportant detail. LOL

I totally think the 1st one was a sarcastic one from Adam! Totally sounds like him.

I didn't think he even read the second card. I thought he took the envelope out of the flowers, looked at it and tossed it aside without opening it.

Earlier someone asked him about people brown-nosing him now that he is in charge. I assumed that he saw the flowers as gifts from people who wanted on his good side.
