I had to laugh at some of the things ppl say before watching the show.She has cancer she is going to have set backs.And I also thinks gesture from Mac is her hair to make a wig for lily. |

Nobody said they thought her setback had anything to do with sex. Lady said Cane might think he was the reason because they had sex. I see what she probably means though, cause Cane went off by himself and starts crying and since we in the US don't have the advantage those do in CND, he may have been crying not only cause he was afraid of losing Lily but that he might have made her maybe weaker and more suseptable to infection. Don't know but I could see Cane feeling that way and the writers having it that way for more effect.JMO |

As I said in a previous post the doctor told Cane and Neil that Lily had an overaction to the chemo. That's what brought the infection about. So everyone knows what caused it. |

NO She could'nt use Mac's Hair, it would not Blend at all, they have beautiful Wig's if so i hope the writers be very careful in picking one, they Goofed big time with Tyra, she looked a Mess, Tyra is a Very-Very pretty Woman and the way they dressed her was really Ridiculous, remember she was "Americas Next Top Model" and she sure didn't become it by looking like Y&R had her looking. so i hope they don't Mess-Up Lily

She definitely wouldn't have won if she had that wig on that she had on the last time we saw her. I am surprised she didn't refuse to put it on. That thing was worse then the wig Chloe had on for Holloween. I cannot believe how poor Y&R seems to be as of late. I know other soaps with way less viewers seem to have nicer sets and if they are wearing wigs they definitely look way better then ones Y&R comes up with. It's like they have purchased them from some street vendor parked outside of CBS. LOL She could use Mac's hair if she dyed it the color of Lily's natural hair. But I really don't think that is what Mac offers Lily. I think Mac will try to give Lily a reason to fight to live. And I don't think Mac's hair would give Lily that reason, have you seen Mac's hair lately? |

The man has faced so much turmoul this past year all to help out a absentee father and just to get back the love of his life to find out she has cancer and they removed her 'womanhood'....and now this setback due to chemo..... Neil did well....Cane needs his Mom....the man is all alone in that City with no real family but Jill....they did bond and they see each other as Mother & Son. Glad he called her and she too realized that Cane needs someone during time like this. It has nothing to do with him feeling like he infected her...it has to do with human nature when you feel you can't take away the pain you see your love one suffering from....that deep and to see him all alone. My heart goes out to him. It truely was sad to see him like that..... ITA with your entire post, but especially with the highlighted part. He has literally had no one to lean on. It would have been nice if he could have confided in Neal. Neal had his own problems though, which he seems to be getting over. These writers left Lily and Cane marooned on orange couch island. Lily had Cane but Cane had no one. Jill never called or visited. TB never came to visit or asked to take him out for a cup of coffee(you would think he would esp since Cane destroyed his on life by doing this guy a favor). Sometimes it really surprises me that MAB had cancer the way she has written or should I say poorly written this cancer storyline. I don't think i would tell anybody I had it and then write a storyline with so many gaps in it. |

Yeah KeepingItReal watching Cane breakdown finally was a little hard for me to watch. I truly understand his feelings. He has truly been Lily's rock,trying to be strong at all times and taking everything in stride. But sooner or later things get to you and you have to let go. It certainly helps to have family and friends to help you get through. Right now Jill will be the best medicine for Cane. I love their relationship. And as Katherine said blood doesn't make you family, it caring about people and feeling a connection with them that is beyond explanation. That's what Cane and Jill have. Kathiine also has a big heart, because in a way she embraces all these unrelated by blood people and calls them family. The whole premise of Cane, Lily, Jill, Katherine and even Neil and Devon; this mismatched family by happenstance is very endearing to me. |
