I dont care whether she meant to shoot him or not. She shot him. You would think that would have appeased her desire for revenge. If the woman was not obsessed she would have gotten over it already. From MJ/PATTYCAKES point of view she was DID think they were in a relationship even though they WEREN'T because she became SEXUALLY OBSESSED with him much like ALEX WINTERS did in FATAL ATTRACTION! She became the BUNNY BOILER when they had SEX! When PATTYCAKES first met ole smilin JACK she was the vestal VIRGIN dating DANNY ROMALOTTI(he & PAUL were friends and waiters)PATTY was in high school and a good little CATHOLIC girl. JACK met her, wanted her especially when he found out she was a VIRGIN and had NO plans to MARRY her especially when he took her virginity and when that happened she wanted him and they eventually got married because JOHN ABBOTT thought that marriage would settle JACK down, it DIDN'T. MJ/PATTYCAKES after their first sexual encounter after all those years went back to when she was the virgin catholic school girl who was in awe of ole smilin JACK on one hand and the other her SEXUAL OBSESSION grew into a BUNNY BOILER. NOPE, JACK didn't have a relationship with her BUT he CONTRIBUTED to her obsession. SHARON had left but both she & JACK were still married and BOTH CHEATED on each other, just like NICK & PHYLLIS both cheated. JACK was CALLOUS, PHYLLIS was NOT! In the first scenario JACK didn't want either MJ or the baby and in the second scenario JACK wanted both SHARON & the baby! MJ was sexually obsessed and couldn't stand that he didn't really want her just like the MICHAEL DOUGLAS character in FATAL ATTRACTION. NOPE, MJ didn't boil a bunny but she sure killed a kitty, a bird, and ZAPATO and later kissed an innocent child which put her in a coma. Oh, and she tried to "frame" the pregnant wife because they were ALL in her way to get to JACK! One question: How do you figure that Jack was the callous one by sleeping with Phyllis, but Phyllis is not callous?? I still don't agree that Jack "helped" this time around with Patty's meltdown. He didn't know it was her, was up front with her, and didn't know anything about Victor's plan of revenge against him. Jack's relationship with MJ?Patty was strictly for giggles from the get go on his part and he parlayed that to MJ. As we all know, MJ had her own agenda from the get go. Now I agree that Jack did some real damage to Patty in the past, but not this time. These were two grown adults agreeing up front what the relationship was going to be. The only one who changed the game (between Jack & MJ) was MJ.

However, I must say, LOVE the BOIL THE BUNNY correlation! AND LOVED the "didn't boil the bunny, but killed the bird, kitty and doggie!

My original post about CALLOUS was NOT concerning PHYLLIS or PHYLLIS & JACK being together and THAT is "why" I said JACK acted callously and PHYLLIS did NOT. it was "She became obsessed & dangerous after JACK treated her so callously AGAIN after all these years. From her point of view they had a relationship even though she knew he was married and his wife was pregnant. Sure he told her it was casual but said it in a kidding/joking way and "we" knew he wasn't serious about her but she did NOT, she believed what she wanted to. JACK even confirmed that he wasn't serious about her in dialogue, but she was NOT privy to that. Oh Clicq, I will definitely AGREE with your last statement. Both are vengeful, consumed, jealous, arrogant men. Wow, after all that bantering, we find common ground!

I think Victor is to blame. Why? Because when he saw how unstable Patty truely was he did nothing.
He could of gone to Paul, or Father Williams & told the truth. This would of saved a lot of grief.
The only reason Billy wrote the article was to regenerate the fued to a new generation which is Bily against Nic.
