Now if we want to keep going back to who did what to whom first and this one did that first. Well we can go all the way back and to how the fued started and who started it. Dear ol Jackie boy. Jack was upset because Victor got Jabott away from the Abbotts because Jack was not a very good business man back then. He was to busy spending to much time on using women and not enough time on business

If not the Newman/Abbott fued, then where is the next big fued gonna come from? Every soap needs some good enemies to battle each other.

My bashing on Billy for what he did has nothing to do with letting Victor off the hook, because I am in total agreement that Victor has alot to take blame for. But what Billy did 1st off, was post a trashy, "National Inquire" style article that he wrote very little of on his own, in a Fasion Magazine. That is what RS is suppose to be, and it has always done extreamly well when it sticks to what it's about! I felt the same exact way when Jack trashed it with the horrible Sabrina article, and when Phyllis wrote the stupid editorial about Jack and Sharon leaving. These things were not what RS's purpose was for and Billy did the same thing here. If he wanted to go this rout, why didn't he call up Leanna Love, or some other gossip columnist or publish a "journal" and be on his merry way!

2nd, and most disturbingly, he took something away from his own family. Tracy tried to use Colleen's pointless death for something pure, she gave life to someone, the most unselfish thing she could do. It didn't matter that he didn't deserve it, because Colleen would have never thought about that. It could have been the 1st step in healing wounds between those two families. Billy basically spit right on Colleen's heart with what he did.

I'm not only mad at Billy for this, though!! Jack didn't learn anything from all his hatred either! The diary fiasco wasn't enough for him, then loosing Colleen wasn't enough for him to be able to put this all behind and move on to be strong in Colleen's memory...NOOOO He practically wrote that entire article. And he's totally getting away with...the only one who gave him a peice of his mind was Victor.

I don't give up on Billy though! This was just a stupid thing he did...it's nothing compared to several other real "villians" out there in GC! He'll bounce back eventually. And I totally agree, what would Y&R be without a constant Abbott/Newman fued? The only reason they were probably even contemplating ending it was because they wern't sure if Victor would be back.

I dont see anyonr=e slapping victor for what he did and it was way worse then what billy did.

The blame falls all on Victor's shoulder cause he knew Patty's history.....his grown butt should of never even consider her to take Jack down.

What is he that dense not to realize a mentally ill woman would not snap back again.....whatever....much less he saw the clippings in her room......he's as guilty as her but she has a defense....she mentally illl....what's his....petty games/vengence...

No one told him to take Jack down...what Jack wrote was the truth.....Victor did kill that man....he knows it too....just pissed that Jack wrote a Diary pretending it was him.....he did a dang good job of it too......afterall who knows Victor better than Victor....Jack.

Anyway, no need to protect the Newmans...they do bad all by themselves....just look at them....
