I am SO tired of all the Billy bashing that has been going on this week because of the Newman articles that he has written. What he said about Victor ALL was true, what he said about Victoria ALL was true. WHY WHY WHY is everybody coming to the Newmans defense and being disgusted by what Billy wrote?? The Newmans are NOT pillars of the community. They will be the first people in line to step on anyone to get what they want. They are mean and vindictive and will go out of their way to make sure they get what they want at any cost. All these people that are coming to the defense of the Newmans have had their own run ins with the Newmans. Victor bringing Patty to town alone affected A LOT of people. She did damage directly and indirectly to just about everyone in GC. Did the residents forget about that? It just aggravates me that people are kicking Billy for his TRUTHs about the Newmans. It is clear to me that the residents of Genoa City won't grow a spine and stand up for truth instead they fall for anything. Please let the Billy bashing stop and lets take these articles for what they are: TRUTH

Sorry, I am a big fan of the Newmans and Billie is acting like a jerk.

I think billy had every right to write that article its not like he was lieing, the newmans got what they deserved

The Newmans act like jerks all the time. I don't necessarily play favorites with the characters. Sometimes I like what they do, and other times, like normal people, I don't always like what they do. In this case I don't think that Billy behaved any differently than any of the other characters with the exception that Billy told the truth.

The way Billy did it was wrong. It was all about revenge, pure and simple. It's just plain wrong.

I don't look at it as "protecting the Newmans". As far as I know there is no proof that TGVN had anything to do with MJ (of course we the viewers are privy). Afterall, Jack was sleeping with her and Billy hired her--makes the Abbotts look suspicious to me. The story-- like Billy has no substance.
He showed what a little jerk he was when he ran the article. I hope he makes enough to pay Ashley back as his AD clients will probably pull their ads. No Beauty of Nature, No Jabot, No Fenmore's, etc. The Abbotts and the Newmans are joined--Abby and Faith are part Abbott.

I guess in my opinion, I see it differently. If it isn't about protecting the Newman image, then whey is everybody so mad at Billy. Billy didn't write about anyone else. (except the mention of Patty) I don't remember anyone else getting this upset at Phyllis for writing the smear job on Sharon or getting upset at Jack for writing the smear job on Sabrina. No ads were pulled them, and it wasn't called a tabloid magazine then. However, I totally RESPECT other people's opinions. Write one people!

Victor will survive this article. Remember the "Ruthless" book? He and his children always come out on top.

Victor did admitt to bringing patti back,billy simply wrote the truth about what happened and had evey right to do so,victor and victoria got what they deserved they always do what they want no matter what and noone ever treats them the way they are treating billy.

IMO, it is not about protecting the Newmans at all. It was not what Billy did but rather, how he did it. He had an opportunity to make himself and his family shine and at the same time do Colleen some well deserved justice in reference to her her being an organ donor and so forth but instead he throw them under the bus, so to speak.
