Quote Debrajo: Quote mdtuttle: Quote shademorgis: I know Adam is a psycho, but ANYONE other than Nick should warn Sharon. Sharon didn't like it either when Nick dumped her for a psycho (Phyllis), but she was forced to deal with it. DEAL with Adam liking Sharon NICK. I'm sort of on the fence of this one. On the one hand I agree with you. Nick has no buisness sticking his nose in Sharon's buisness. He certianly does not have the right to tell Sharon who she should or should not be involved with. The other side of that is Nick still cares about Sharon and always will, as many exes care for the person they had children with but are no longer with. He does not want to see her get hurt and he is aware of a lot of the garbage (not all) that Adam has pulled. HE doesn't want to see Sharon get hurt and he knows Adam's track record. I was the first to say Nick should stay away from Sharon and concentrate on his marrige, but I can understand his wanting to Warn her away from Adam. MD I can sort of agree with what you are saying. The problem that I have is I have seen that look so many times on Nick's face when it comes to Sharon and another man.He seemed fine the first time he was there but it was day time and there was no cozy fire, wine glasses etc.like this time so he had no reason to be jealous. But you could see the jealousy in his eyes Halloween night when he was taking that room in and it was plain old jealousy of his ex wife and his brother.Nick is human and that is a normal reaction for any one.He has always acted like this when he sees Sharon with another man but seeing his hated brother with her only intensifies those feelings.I think to a certain extent he could be worried about her and Adam but I still believe that the underlying reason is that he is jealous of his brother and Sharon and is using the excuse that Adam has ulterior motives and he has to keep him away from her.I can see both reasons here. But I still don't believe that Sharon should get the blame for his running to her house and trying to tell her who she can and can not see. I don't blame Sharon at all. She sees Adam as a nice guy that has made mistakes and has had problem adjusting to being Victor Newman's son. In short she is looking to give him the benifit of the doubt and see the best in him. That may be because she has made mistakes herself and is trying to get her life together so she is more willing to give Adam a second chance. I also agree with you that a large part of Nick's feelings might be rooted in jelousy and he would react this way no matter who Sharon was getting involved with. But the point is Adam has done some pretty underhanded things, the wotst of wich have not even come to light yet. So in a way, even though I do not wqant Nick to play white knight to Sharon's damsel in distress yet again I do understand why he would want to warn her about Adam. |

Nick has the right to be concerned about Sharon. Yes he is with Phyllis because of the stupid story line to have a husband cheat onhis wife and then be with his mistress, just does not happen in reality. Adam did take Nick and Sharon's baby and give it to Ashley, HELLO!!!!! She does not need to deal with Adam at all. When it comes out about her baby, she will be an emotional roller coaster again! I'm with you All the way Mdtuttle, Yes Nick is Jealous, BUT he is also concerned for Sharon ( Kind of remind you of Neal and how protected of Lily he was, he didn't want to see her HURT again) And guess what? i'm with Nick on this one, and at the end of this HORRIBLE MESS, that NO,ONE BUT ADAM HAS Caused, Nick true he Hates Adam and oh how much more when he finds out that he STOLE his Baby, this could result in Sharon going into another TRAUMA, Nick know how kind and forgiving Sharon is, there for he feels the need to protect her (she has no other close contact besides Jack) and YES i'm more than glad that Adam is aware that someone is standing in the GAP, Adam is a EVIL person who will hurt and use anything or any body to get his way, you see he used Rafe a Gay, and did what it took to get what he wanted and had SEX with him, and all the time destroying Rafe Aunts good name, Ran Nicks Step Mon Crazy, and she with Nicks child while Nick and Sharon are thinking shes DEAD, OH My Goodness, Yes i'm delighted that Nick won't take down, Adam is Evil, Evil, Evil, and i hate the writers even thought this up, poor Sharon. |

Say what you want about Nick but IMO the entire time Adam has been redeeming himself to others--Nick refuses to believe he has changed (and we know he hasn't changed). |

I for one, am hoping that since they are trying to make Sharon stronger, that eventually she will see Adam for what he really is on her own, without any of these biotches trying to keep making her the damsil in destress. |

Quote Debrajo: Quote suegerry: I see this as being all about Nick's love for Sharon and a soon to be reunion. Sharon befriending Adam is who she is, a kind person,. who sees good in people. She has no idea nor does Nick of Adam's evil deeds and when they do it will be what it should have been their little girl with them and Noah in a pretty house. Sue,that's what I think, too. That's why it is ridiculous for Nick to be saying all those things about Adam when he knows nothing about the extent of Adam's crimes. He and all of G.C. will be shocked to find out all the evil things Adam has done. But right now neither Nick or Sharon know this.So as I said the writers are stretching here to try to give Nick a legitimate excuse to be so very upset with the love of his life being friends with his brother.Totally ridiculous. Well, given the first impressions Adam made when he first got to town, there is ample reason for both Nick and Victoria to dislike Adam. Remember, he came to town with a huge chip on his shoulder when they didn't welcome him with open arms right away. He was snarky, arrogant and condescending. When Victor was presumed dead in Me-hee-co, Adam was all over NE throwing his weight around (he fired Neil Does Nick have a "right" to warn Sharon? No. But should he warn her? Yes, yes and YESSSSSSSSS! |

Nick has every reason not to trust Adam.He was right to warn Sharons specially when we all know that he is still in love with her, she is the love of his life. |

Ummmm I hate my ex husband but i would be mad if he got with my sister. No matter how you look at it, Nick has every right to warn Sharon. Not to mention that Adam tried to put Victor in jail for life. Victor hadn't even did anything to Adam but kick him out the company because Adam tried to take over Newman and put Nick and Victoria out. |

Alicia I just wanted to saw remember Mel Gibson. He left his wife of 19 years and 6 kids to be with his mistress. Husbands leaving their wives for mistresses happens everyday. |

I find it funny that Sharon loves the Newmans so much and would befriend a man who tried to take everything away from her children, ex husband, and father & sister in law. Sharon needs to wake up. Adam stole her baby. Nick has every right to be suspicious of Adam. Remember though that neither Nick nor Sharon have any idea as to the full extent of Adam's crimes, they know he tried to take over NE and about the forged diary, but that's it. They have no idea as what he did to Ashley or that he took their baby. Even Nick doesn't know how evil Adam is yet. Oh, and the Mel Gibson example, him and his wife were actually married about 27 years and have 7 children together and two grandchildren. I feel the exact same way about Gibson leaving his wife for his mistress as I feel about Nick leaving Sharon for Phyllis, it's just plain wrong. |

Look Nick did this to himself when he had an affair and married Phyllis then stay with her. Sharon is going to move on it is only right for her to do that but having Nick hatred toward his half brother is only adding to his jealousy. But he is still in love with Sharon so right now it could be anyone. |

It was said leaving your wife for a mistress doesn't happen in real life. My point was yes it does happen all the time. This is a very realistic story plot in that respect. Adam tried to take over the company when Sabrina died and Victor left and went overseas. Remember he tried to fire Neil and tried to take over the company. Then Victor came back and through him out on his a$$. They dont know about the baby switch, but Adam trying to take over the NE and the fake diary they know about. Then with the maid getting fired after being with the family for years. Everyone knew she wasn't terrorizing Ashley. So Nick probably thinks Adam is responsible for that too. So Adam has 1. tried to dethrone the Newmans from NE 2. tried to have TGVN jailed for life c. is suspected of torturing Ashley that is enough reason to not want him around your ex wife, Noah, or anyone in your family. |

Isn't Patti being blamed for Ashley's torture? I don't think that anyone has realized yet that it was actually Adam. They all thought it was Estella at first, then Patti after the purple dress was found in the garden shed. Did anyone apologize to Estella/Rafe? |
