You are absolutly right, when the Dr. came in to examine her, after the so called birth, Ashley refused to let her check her at all. She said she was going home. I really believe that Ashley knows she did not deliver a baby. I think her subconcience made her name the baby Faith.

There are so many bloopers in the Ashley baby s/l's

1- No movement,
2-no blood,
3-Ashley has the out of date ultrasound (someone needs to notice).
4-no after birth pain
5-Ashley was up and around right after the birth
6-Ashley just walks out of the house without letting anyone know. No mother would do that reguardless how many housekeepers you have. (Victor would have no trouble getting custody of the baby due to Ashley's neglect of the baby.)
7-Premie released right after birth. (No light at all to prevent Jandice).
8-No stomach shrinking after a birth.(Uterus always does)
9-The whole birth was stupid. No Dr. No Gloves, No Blood,
Many, many more.

IMO: I believe Ashley knows something is wrong. She just has not faced it all yet. It will come and she will lose it. One time she did say something to Adam about him hurting her baby. That was when she was thinking about falling. (weeks after she fell).

You are correct in pointing out all the errors in this story, and because of them, I originally thought (hoped) that Ashley really did know she hadn't given birth. But I'm pretty sure that the writers honestly expect us just to accept all this without question. We often have to swallow some pretty absurd storylines, but this one is by far, the worst ever. It's insulting to faithful viewers, not to mention, just a horrible story. They need to end it and give Faith back to Sharon soon!
