Quote Eppy: Clicquot1 - I have not idea why your post #13 was bad posted. Perhaps someone doesn't like reading about the true facts. Anyway, I think the reason Victor became involved with this bank in the first place is because he deposited the funds in Gloria's account after buying her 5% share of Jabot she inherited from Katherine - under false pretences. Because Katherine's will was declared null and void, that 5% didn't belong to Gloria anyway - neither did the money Victor paid her for it.

PS. Michael would do well to find out just how Gloria weazeled all that money she "lost" in the first place. It wasn't hers to keep anyway - it still belonged to Victor.

Not trying to turn this thread into a political discussion but the current administration is said to be going to go after taxpayers and corporations that are hiding their assets in order to avoid paying their share of taxes! And "if" TPTB wanted to mirrow this economy by showing a s/l on failing banks because there have been over 105 in the U.S. in the last year than they should have made the bank be in the U.S. Ole VIC had every right to pull his assets out of this bank and was under NO OBLIGATION LEGALLY to ANYONE else and this bank is NOT insured by the federal government under the FDIC which insures depositors assets should the bank fail. If GLO, JEFF, & JILL would have had their assets in a U.S. bank they at least would have had their assets insured up to $250,000.00! And for JILL who I think is a very astute businesswoman to have had "all" her assets in one bank is UNBELIVEABLE to me! DUMB & DUMBER and their evil, conniving, grifter ways(good one EPPY & I agree!)well that is right up their alley to try to hide assets and avoid paying taxes to the federal government. As far as INSIDER TRADING goes EPPY is completely RIGHT please remember MARTHA STEWART & her IMPLONE stock & what happened to her when she recieved the tip that the company did NOT receive approval from the FDA for their wonder-cancer drug. She received the tip the DAY BEFORE the announcement was made, sold her stock(high), and the next day the announcement was made and the stock PLUMMETED! That "is" INSIDER TRADING! Thanks EPPY and your cute little CORGI, is it WELSH or PEMBROOK?
