Couldn't he get in trouble for representing Gloria and Newman in the Cayman bank fiasco? I feel he was out of line.

LOL Didn't you know that this is the Baldwin, Fisher and Bardwell show, they never get in trouble.

Victor may just slap him around a little bit after this one when he gets back but I have yet to see Michael or any of his family members ever really pay for their crimes. It's amazing how Gloria and Jeffrey's aren't rotting in a cell after plotting to hide and abide Patty Williams from the church to claim Victor's reward money for her capture. Victor knows this and yet again that s/l has been neatly swept under the carpet along with so many others.

Phillis finally woke up from her nap and sent those squatters eviction papers but Michael yet again gonna bail their sorry butts out. Boy it must be good to be a member of that family.

Michael said that he would not betray Victor so maybe his advice will not only benefit Gloria and Jill and other investors, but also is the right decision for Victor.

Maybe settling is a better move than dealing with a long investigation that may bring up other issues if the FEC is looking to take Victor down.

Of course, I think this is really about propping Adam. Adam will use this decision to make Nick and Michael look bad and gain more power by continuing to manipulate and kiss up to Ashley.

Michael paid more than anyone spending 4 years in prison and being treated like the town pariah for another five years.

Sure the Fishers get a pass, but so do characters like Jack, Victor, Katherine, and now Adam. This isn't exclusive of the Fisher-Baldwins although some act as it is.

And if it was the Baldwin show then why have characters like Jack, Victor and Billy appeared on 60 more shows that Michael who hasn't had a story all year?

Please you like them I don't. Since each and everyone in this particular family members have come on this soap they have continuously committed crimes that have gone unsolved and swept under the carpet. Yes Michael went to jail and rightfully so, he attacked a defenseless woman and did his time so what! what about the rest of his and his families mess? When a thread is created to discuss Jack, Adam, Phillis and all the others and their unpaid crimes I address them as well because I post in many other threads not just the ones that involve Michael and Lauren.

He is a very clever lawyer and even though it was LIKE he was representing Gloria & Jeff, actually I took it to mean he was representing ALL who may have lost money, not just those two with the Caymans Bank, afterall, they were not the only two with money there...remember Jill also lost money there and will also get her millions back...

That's nice but when they show that scene and Jill gets back her money and not only his family, I'll believe it.Until then I will always say Michael and his family are swine that's just the way I feel about them and they surely aren't the only ones.

Perhaps Jill will hire Paul to investigate the Caymans Bank closure to regain her millions as well...he will get with Michael who will say he's already taken care of those that lost big through Victor's closing of the bank there...

Maybe: Who knows who Jill is having investigated, she may be trying to find Kay's daughter, she may be trying to find info on this new Tucker character. Should be interesting to find out who or what she wants investigated.

I can only hope that Gloria thanks Billy in person. When Billy connects the dots, he'll see Michael was playing both sides. This could lead to another rant in RS! Gloria and Jeffery have enough on Victor to keep RS going for a few months
Perhaps legally Michael can get around the law on this on but Victor is a different story. Victor would never give in and pay anything back... they will all pay for this when he's back!

You're right I like some of them, mainly Michael and Lauren, and I was arguing your point that Michael never pays for his crimes because he obviously did big time. Who cares if I post in mainly Lauren and Michael threads on this site. I also post at other sites but this thread was about Michael so that is the topic I addressed. I don't know what the issue is with that.

I don't think that Michael will get in trouble because he isn't doing anything wrong. Actually, if Victor were around for all of this, he would probably settle with the people who lost money just to keep the SEC heat off his back. All that Michael is suggesting is that Nick makes restitution to those who lost money. It will go easier with the SEC. He isn't hurting Newman, Victor or the people who lost money. Michael mediates between Newman and the SEC and shows that the money was returned it takes the heat off. Better do it that way than continue to have them breathing down Newman's throat snooping around looking to prove tax evasion or something worse. Actually, Michael will be helping Victor and getting everyone their money back and no laws were broken by Michael to get it done.
