As far as talking back to her mom, I agree - she needs to get some respect, but come on people, how many of us didn't try to get away with some funny stuff at that age and didn't get caught? I don't think she should be too severely punished unless this started to become a pattern, then, lower the boom!

When I was 14 I didn't have a credit card, driver, horse, or cell phone. I turned out GREAT

What I did get at 14 was proper punishment when I did act out and I didn't have parents that let me run them around and tell them what for. Proper punishment for Abby would be time with her Ashley 24/7 shadowing her EVERY move.
