She said she had pictures. Then Nick didn't say anything. So then she started calling his name. Here's the scene for the people who didn't get to see it: Nick: (Sighs) Phyllis: Guess who's sleeping in her costume completely wiped out? Nick: Yeah? Phyllis: She was really cute trick-or-treating, wasn't she? She did well. You know what? I took pictures of it-- her sleeping in her costume-- if you want them. She's making a lot of progress, don't you think, Nick? Nick. Nick: I'm sorry. What? Phyllis: So you're really upset seeing Adam with Sharon, right? Nick: It's her life. Phyllis: Yeah, it's her life. Don't do that to me, please. If you have a problem with this, please admit it to me. Phyllis: (Sighs) Nick: Okay, yeah, it bothers me that Sharon is hanging around with Adam because he doesn't do anything without some ulterior motive. Phyllis: Mm. Mm-hmm. Well, I'm--I'm sure you would be nervous because your son lives there, right? Nick: The--the last person I want in the world having any influence over my son is Adam. (Cell phone beeps) Phyllis: Absolutely. You know, baby, if you need to go up there and talk to Sharon and make sure she knows what a creep he is... (Chuckles) Go ahead. I have no problem with it. Nick: Really? Phyllis: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Go ahead and go. Nick: (Sighs) Okay. Well, Dad wants to see me up at the main house for something, so I'll swing by there and then go see if I can talk some sense into Sharon... Phyllis: Okay. Nick: Because once she realizes Adam is bad news, the better off we'll all be. |

Sharon tends to walk into trouble, it is just what she does. Nick knows her well enough to know that she is naieve that way. He doesn't want to see her in any danger. He is curious as to why Adam is around Sharon and he is also even more curious about what Adam is up to. Nick is walking a fine line here. Sharon could be good for information down the line, but if she screws Adam, that would be the dumbest move that she could make at this point. By screwing Adam, she would also screw herself. Nick is right to keep an eye on this situation. It won't be the only thing to watch out for either. |

Amp up the Newman brothers rivalry (because at the time these episodes were written, they believed Victor very well may not be on the canvas anymore, and Victoria would be away as AH would be on maternity leave, so they needed Nick and Adam to drive the NE corporate s/l). This Adam/Nick dynamic has everything to do with Sharon and Sharon and Nick because it involves their baby girl Faith. Is there reason for Nick to distrust Adam and not want him to be around Sharon? Of course - the extent of Adam's sick crimes not yet being known. But there's no question the reason why Adam's friendship with Sharon is such an effect tool in Adam's arsenal is because Sharon is Nick's "achilles heel"; it's not just about business, it's personal for Nicky boy. Loving how the stunning Sharon is in the middle of the Newman boys rivalry! Just hope they don't have Sharon romantically involved with the sicko Adam as it doesn't need to go that far to pull it off. I'm hoping maybe Billy Boy will slip in after Nick sends little brother off on a business trip.Dollars to donuts Ole Nick will still be sniffing around Sharon's house even after Adam is gone.Let's see if seeing hunky Billy with his lovely Sharon will set him off again.Of course he will have to tell the wifey that he has to warn Sharon about Billy because he is such a bad boy writing all those "untrue" things about his sis and dad and he is a bad influence on Noah and he doesn't think Sharon should be seeing some one like him and he could hurt her and blah blah blah blah blah. And this is not at all about NE.and the rivalry between the two brothers.Sharon doesn't work at NE and has nothing to do with the company.What possible reason would she have to do any thing bad to NE,her son's grandfather's company even if she was able to?Which is totally absurd.She has no pull or say so at the company. No,this is all about Nick loving his ex and not wanting her to be with any man especially his little brother.Nick has no way of knowing what Adam is capable of.He only knows the diary and the take over of NE.The writers have screwed up once again.They want it to look like Nick knows all about how evil Adam is when there is no way that he could.If Nick believes Adam to be dangerous then why doesn't Victor?Why would Victor allow him to stay with Ashley, the baby and Abby and until recently Noah?Victor knows just as much about Adam as Nick and he is not concerned in the slightest with him staying around his ex and their two kids.Nick knows nothing more about Adam than his father does.So save that excuse that he thinks Adam is dangerous.He is using that to keep tabs on Sharon because he is jealous of her and Adam. No matter what type of spin he tries to put on it the bottom line is that he is jealous of his ex wife the "love of his life." Those words are straight from Nick's father's mouth.Spoken to the beautiful Sharon.And over heard by the evil Adam.Nick has thrown the gauntlet down and Adam will pick it up and run with it.I am praying for an interception from Billy,Diego or Malcolm.

a big problem i have with nick is that he treats Sharon like she is some possession , like he owns her. i'm sorry but the last time i checked he was NOT her husband. he lost any right to demand anything when he went back to Phyllis. |

Gencor, that's funny that you mention that "she just lost his child" because it was too long ago that I was reading a thread posted by some that was all the rave that " Nick was over his grief" So which is it? Secondly, if he isnt jealous of a "gay" man, then why did he bring it up? And as far as Nick thinking that Sharon is "vulnurable or "in danger".. maybe so. But its NO LONGER Nick's concern. His concern should be for his wife and Child that slept in her costume tonight. Instead... his mind was all on Sharon. All Shick and Phick discussion is to be done in the designated thread. Jade |
