The Young and the Restless - MESSAGE BOARDS

OK so i am a couple of episodes behind..i read ERIC was leaving and now i here they have settled and he will be staying...so i just saw thursday episode with the flash backs (great ep BTW) but he is leaving for good...for a long period of time? if so sounds like a looooong time...dose anyone know?

The scenes were already taped assuming he was leaving. He just signed his contract. I didn't think the flashbacks were very good. The "man in a cage " one made Victor & the show look wacky. They could of put way more thought into it.
I'm certain he will be on a brief vacation like Nicci was just as Melanie was in neogations w/ her contract.

I think YR missed a great opportunity for Victor & Jack to end their feud , but instead we see a fight w/ Victor's threat.

oh yeah the great victor newman will be back and with a vengance.....i look for him to return in 3- 4 weeks....hail to victor, he is the king of the young and the restless. without victor, there is no shooooooooooooow!

I respectfully disagree, Mdtuttle I think Victor taking an unstable, nearly homeless woman who is the sister of Paul...a man he says he respects...giving her a new idenity, makes the #^% guilty! He still has yet to confess. Victor found Patty. He gave her a new idenity. He hid her from her family. He gave her a job, $ etc....
This woman murdered his dog, nearly murdered his granddaughter, left his granddaughter w/ brain damage, kidnapped his goddaughter (who he set up to suffer).
It was Collen's choice to go for help & that is what caused her drowning/brain damage/death. Her parents raised her well enough to have morals & help people...even those who do us wrong.
But, Victor recreated & unleashed Patty into everyone's lives causing terrible consquences. He won't own it.
Jack did stir the pot as V ictor had hoped he would, but Jack didn't know MJ was really Patty.
Billy made an innocent suggestion about the cabin. B ut, vICTOR knew screwing w/ people's lives could backfire. He knew he unleashed an unstable , criminal woman into their lives. Also Victor clearly could of cared less C ollen was his goddaughter. He set her up w/ Gloworm. He blew Tracy off when she tried to talk to him about what he did. Yet, she gives him her only child's heart.

I did not want to see another Abbot sacrificed for a N ewman. I can't stand Victor.....can you tell ?

How do we know Victor knew Patty was unstable when he brought her to GC? We don't know that for a fact do we?
