When Adam went to the funeral home and met with the funeral director, after Sharon mentioned to Adam something about not yet receiving her baby's ashes (since she was told it died), I remember seeing the director leave the room and that is when "the very resourceful partially blindman" Adam "looked" around...he saw a display case with samples of ashes urns...he opened the case and took an urn labeled "Baby Doe"...being the "always-prepared-BoyScout", he thought out ahead and managed to also bring with him a backpack...he put the baby ashes urn inside of the backpack and left the office, these are the same ashes he "relabeled" as "Baby Newman" and sent to Sharon at the Club...upon leaving the funeral director's office, Billy Abbott, who was there arranging Colleen's Memorial, saw Adam exit the funeral director's office...Here are my thoughts or questions:

1. Why hasn't Billy wondered why Adam would be there?
2. Why didn't the funeral director report the urn as stolen?
3. If #2 happened, why didn't someone in either the Newman or Abbott family read about it in the newspaper or see it on tv/online, etc?
4. If #1 happened, why hasn't Billy said anything to anyone?
5. I would think that a missing urn filled with an even UNKNOWN baby's ashes would leave a VOID in the showcase
6. The funeral director knew Adam was in there last...wouldn't he be able to deduct that Adam was the thief?
7. Nevermind, really...afterall, how many other unsolved REPORTED cases are left to just dangle and never mentioned again...silly me...

The writers had Billy to see Adam there for a reason.His seeing Adam is going to figure in solving this kidnapped baby case.With Chloe and Mac kind of moving away from Billy maybe the writers are going to put him with Sharon and he will start to figure this out.Just guessing.i have no way of knowing if that will happen but he could be her new/old lover.Plus I would much rather have Shilly than Shadam.

More often than not, when something obvious takes place (e.g. Billy seeing Adam at the funeral home), it winds up playing into a story. I really do think that will happen and Billy will be somewhat redeemed by figuring out the baby-switch. He will be so conflicted about it, because Ashley is his sister. I just want it to happen sooooooon. I hurt so much for Sharon and for Ashley, too, knowing what is to come. The sooner the better, though!

Billy may do some pretty rotten things like what he's doing right now to the Newmans, but that pales in comparison to what evil Adumb has done. How do you forgive someone like that for what he's done?

You don't. Not in my book until he is exposed and he pays a heavy price (though what will ever make up for the death and theft of a child?! ).

What if Adam wants to give Sharon the baby she wants? What if that is the route the writers are going. Sharon and Adam have sex, Sharon gets pregnant with another baby and Adam will have thought he was a good man to give her a child to keep for herself.
I hate to see ADAM with anyone. Anyone, Anyone, Anyone. He is so evil, he will hurt one way or another anyone that he gets in contact with. Someone will suffer by Adams hands. I just want Victor to come back and crush him. Maybe he will fall off the ledge Dru was at and we can think he will be looking for Dru. WAYYYYYYYYYY out of the s/l's.

I don't believe there were any ashes in the Example ERN.
I believe the ern's were there only to use as examples. The cabinet was not locked and it would not be any proper place to store the remains of a baby.
I am thinking that for some reason the ern will be opened and it will be empty. This would cause major concern and Billy would then remember Adam being there. The pieces could then be put into place. How will Adam explain his presence then?

Yes i have to agree the ashes were just a display and no real ashes were in the box ! Maybe Adam roasted marshmellows and scooped up some of the ashes and put them in the box ! I have a feeling that the baby story line is going to drag out forever !!!! I for one love Sharon with Billy ! Adam is just a joke and I was hoping Doctor Taylor would leave a note detailing the crimes than hang himself ! Ok maybe jump off a bridge !!! I hate that Sharon does not have her baby and Ashley is now OK after being a freak for so long ! Storyline as way to many holes to even be believable !!!

We have to remember, Sharon is being played by Adam. Adam is not in love with her. He is only after revenge of his father. Adam is doing everything he can to get Nick out of the office and let Adam replace him so he can be his daddy's big boy.
Adam all along has done everything just to get Victor to notice him. It is hard to believe Adam even had feeling for Heather. He also used her to get removed from prison and into Victors ranch. She did that because Adam told her he had to get out of prison. Everything else he suggested, she did. That was just to spy on Victor. He always did things to get noticed by everyone. Ashley noticed him and felt sorry for him.
Someone looking for attention will do anything to get attention, good or bad. Getting scolded or talked about is being the center of attention. That is what Adam is after.
I wish we could find out how he did in college. I bet he was a rascal because he got hooked up with Dr. Taylor.
