Evicting isn't that easy

I'm not at all familiar with the process of evicting someone from a rental property in Wisconsin but here in Indiana, you must have a representative of the County Sheriff's office serve the notice, and it must be a 30 day notice. Here,you just can't kick someone out with a few minutes notice. Maybe it's a lot different in Wisconsin, but probably not. We are talking about the Newman's after all!

I hope they don't make this an easy 123 process for Nick kicking Billy out, plus Billy did mention lawyers he also has the RS website. I hope this is a messy fallout with Newman and Abbott.

Well, I guess it all depends because we as fans know that TPTB know how to really draggggggggggggg a story "out' and they also know how to make it "easy" look at ASHLEY & having her "hysterical" baby(why, she didn't even have any pain or anything let alone lactation and then her "supposed" exam by DR. "EVIL"(I half expect to see MIKE MYERS & mini "me" sometimes!). JMO!

It's just another attempt TPTB displayed to check our intelligence! I am with you country, I don't know Wisconsin law, but I am from Indiana too, and there is a 30 day notice that must be adhered to. There is a process for evicting someone that must be followed to be legal. Unless specifically spelled out in the contract that eviction is effective immediately based on _______________ whatever action (fill in the blank) then there would be a process that would have to be followed. Nick is just puffing up his chest attempting to look like Daddy and bully Billy out of the building. Sorry Nick, the big bad wolf didn't blow the house down or scare the little piggie out of town!

Same here in New York State. Either party has to give the other at least 30 days' notice to vacate the premises. I doubt they had a contract, because of the swiftness of the sale of the business, at least from our perspective (because it's a soap. However, I don't blame Nick one bit for kicking Billy's can out. If that was me, I'd have done the same thing! Billie's sole purpose in buying the magazine was to do exactly what he did with his first issue and that was to humiliate Victor Newman and everything else. Billy is such a jerk anyway. He'll never grow up or amount to anything.

Nick would have to give 30 days notice - and probably even get a court order to do so. Billy, I am sure, paid the rent - so there was no just cause - and personal issues don't count. (I used to work for a property management guy who owned 32 office buildings...)

Plus, even so -- it's RUDE on Nick's part - because what did the other employees do to anyone. Kicking Billy out of one of the ranch houses or something personal (if Nick even had the power to do so) is one thing -- but come on - stop being a jerk - people who work there who may actually need to show up to work tomorrow to earn their paycheck...

Really starting to hate everyone named Newman... just no common sense in the writing anymore or concern for "others" -- stop making these people selfish where innocent/unrelated people are concerned!!

My advice would be get out of RS while you can -- it's only been around how long and this is the third change in management at least...
