I don't see Billy hanging around her once this happens. Who will he pounce on next? Daisy??...what's the rummors say about her storylines? Mac is beautiful, in a plain way, and I'm sure will take very good care of herself during a pregnancy. Makes me think the S/L may be boring.
Happy for Cane and Lilly however and hope the writers let this one come out okay.

Why would they even introduce a surrogate at this time when Lily is still not well.

I'm sorry, but being an mother is an unselfish act and to bring a child into this soap when she's not well is very selfish......In My Opinion.

It was bad enough that they rushed the whole ovarian cancer and removed everything and shaved her head...when they really didn't have to go to that extreme.....sad.

Sorry, on topic...Mac is a given... There is no one else that would be suitable....plus Mac was instrumental in Cane finaly being there for Lilly

As for Mac having a miscarriage when she was pregnant with JT baby....a lot of 1st time mothers go through it and don't even know.

Much less it could of been from the stress she was feeling due to her friendship is Kevin and JT gave her a hard time about it....well he didn't approve cause he knew what the fire starter did to Colleen.

KeepingItReal I'm neither here nor there on the surrogate s/l. I like the couple so whatever s/l tptb choose for this couple I'm going to roll with it; 1. Because of my like for them and 2. Because in the whole scheme of things there's nothing I can do to change their minds. That being said I really think that Mac offering to be a surrogate for Lily, will contribute to her recovery. This generous offer from Mac gives Lily hope for the future. Mac is a kind person and I really think she is doing a decent thing for 2 people that she like and care about, and anyway that's just who Mac is. She is driven by a need to help people in need and/or that are less fortunate. She got that from her dad Brock, he was/is one of the most kind soap characters that I've seen and in turn Mac his daughter is the same.

I hear you Charme but it truley touches close to home and a child does not ask to be born into a situation....they deserve the best of both worlds....

It just sad they want to bring another child on this soap and already we don't even see enough of the ones there.

What kind of message are they sending by introducing all these kids....

Lilly has cancer...she is going through treatment....it may be in remission but she is still sick.....it not even been a good 6 months and they want to talk about surrogates.

Is this the best they can do for this couple....can't they let the two of them heal first....go on a nice trip, date, etc....

You know I never liked them at first but I can appreciate their love now....right now Lily and Cane need each other...rekindle what they lost...take time to get to know each other....she needs to heal....

They treat kids/babies on this soap like their props....it disgusting.

Look at Ashley baby.....how much have we seen of her with this child that supposedly "empowered" her.....not much if any at all....sad

I know it just a soap but I suspect this Surrogate s/l is only going to bring more angst for Lilly.

Mac is already giving Billy his walking papers...and we know nothing good can come of it.......especially if Mac is the surrogate...she clicked real well with Cane.....

This storyline will ber interesting and heartwarming for an otherwise dismal situation for Cane & Lily...I hope Mac does do this for Lily asap because you never know what might happen to Lily and she may NEVER get to see a child conceived from one of her saved, stored eggs united with Cane...I just know that baby will be a beauty! Bless Mac for her gracious gesture...this lady has a huge heart and soul...

If this is true, maybe Mac and Billy will be splitting up, I cannot possibly see Billy okay with her carrying another man's child even if it is for Lily, especially not Cane's child.
