This just fits in to the long-held theory of mine(and I mentioned it on RUTH's thread)that CANE is "really" a MILLER(TGVN'S nephew)and with OREO'S keen observation of the belt that both CANE & VIC have worn & also OREO's speculation that BILLY will go after CANE next and his story of identity theft and his jealosy over CANE(JILL)then in my opinion "who" better to continue the ABBOTT/NEWMAN/MILLER feud than BILLY & CANE. CANE is a much better opponent than NICK could ever be(he is weak & can't see him being ruthless) or tunnel-vision ADAM(he is being redeemed, sigh it seems & with HOPE as his conscience) BUT CANE, well CANE & BILLY already have conflict over both LILY & CHLOE and now MAC will be brought into the picture. WHOO BOY, MAC breaks up with BILLY(according to spoilers)and then wham bam thank you mam she will now be the SURROGATE for LILY & CANE'S baby. And no, I don't think it will go the predictable route of CANE falling for MAC. Ain't going to happen. The conflict will come from the ABBOTT/NEWMAN or should I say MILLER feud part DEUX the SECOND GENERATION! A new poster CANEMILLER says his/her theory about CANE being VIC's nephew started from a scene from the CLEARSPRINGS disaster. Who will join us for "MILLER" TIME and will it be the same folks that joined me on the PATTYWAGON? JMO! I love your post, you just nail it from every point. No one could have put down like you did. Mac was the only logical choice after Colleens death. I see Mac and Lily getting close since Lilys bff is gone. She will need someone. Mac will never take Colleens place but atleast Lily will have an honest trustworthy friend. |

At least with Mac as her friend, she won't have to worry about being stabbed in the back, Mac will have her back... Lily won't have to walk with one eye looking behind her... Charme...I have to wonder why people are always trying to put Cane with someone else...the man stands next to a woman, a total stranger getting coffee at CL, and all of a sudden, you see all this chemistry and they're going to get together and Lily is going to be left in the cold again...I wish I had a crystal ball, maybe I could predict some stuff for some other people... |

Laners it is so funny poor Cane cannot walk or talk to any women with out oh there is chem between them. The amount of women they hook Cane up with already since he came on the canvas it is a wonder any women left for the men in GC. |
There is nothing there but friendship towards Lily and Cane And we will be seeing it soon.So laners it is a bumpy ride for our couple as usual nothing comes easy for them because of their popularity.Lily and Cane will be fine.

The only chemistry I see between Cane and Mac is one of brother and sister. Mac acts more like a big sister to Cane, shes there for him when he needs someone to talk to, like a sister she was angry when she found what he did but she didn't judge him, like a sister she stood up for him against Billy and like a sister she went looking for him when she found out about Lily. Thats the only chemistry I see. I agree with Charme why are people trying to find Cane a new love, the one he has is just find, give it a rest. |

I don't know if Mac would be that great of a candidate. People more knowledgeable would have to chime in - but didn't she have a miscarriage (JT's) back when Kevin and Mac owned Crimson Lights together (or just before then)? |

This is how I remember it: After Mackenzie and Billy ended their marriage of 6 hrs (due to thinking they were cousins when Jill did the informing), she stuck around, trying to "get over" Billy...she and Kevin went in as partners of Crimson Lights...then she moved in with Kevin and JT at the loft apartment they shared, then Kevin moved out and she was with JT and they became closer and began a relationship, her first...and she found out she was pregnant, confided in Kevin about it since she's always believed in Kevin and they were and still are BFF's...after she felt like she was miscarrying, Kevin took her to the hospital and knew before JT even found out...this left a "break in their communication" (betw JT and Mac) and it tore them apart...she left town to go with her dad Brock to New Orleans to help with Hurricane Katrina clean-up and rebuilding...then later, she went off to Darfor...(returning this year, discovering in fact she and Billy were not related since Jill wasn't Katherine's daughter)...hope this helps somewhat...but, for the life of me, I cannot recall Mac's reaction to the fact she was pregnant (but she was very understandably sad when she miscarried)... |
