Scottie Grainger, Lauren's other son...

Besides Fenmore Baldwin, Lauren has a grown son, Scottie Grainger with her former (now deceased husband) Dr. Scott Grainger...He is, I believe a professor somewhere and perhaps he still resides in Canada, where we last saw him heading back to once the "Sheila Carter" s/l was finished...he had met and befriended Sheila and didn't realize she was the demonic arch-enemy of his own mother...once it was revealed who she really was, this terrified Lauren, to say the least...I remembered when Sheila put poison on a silver, circular necklace Scottie gave his Mom Lauren and it was slowly killing her, till that was found out...I bring up Scottie to wonder why he doesn't show up in GC to visit and see the little brother Fen (who was only a baby just last yr |

Then the writers wouldn't be able to pass her off as a much younger woman. Look at Phyllis with Daniel. We know she wasn't 12 when she had him! |

Point taken, but, "older women" can have babies too...from personal knowledge a woman 58 has an 18 yr old wonderfully intelligent, physically fit, healthy son...I know she's not that old, but still...not all females in their teens have babies...  some DO wait...

Maybe it's me, but I don't get it...if the show can have Victor Newman father a child with Ashley or even with Sabrina at his age and it's "ok", then why wouldn't it be ok for Lauren to be her own rightful age???  Afterall, Victor's "Faith" isn't even his daughter, it's his granddaughter...

I think they aged Scotty too much when they brought him back for Lauren and Michael's wedding. He should have been about 14 and at most late teens since Lauren was only 40 or 41 when she married Michael. I remember Tracey Bregman joking at how old her son was. They did this because of the Sheila story. |

So if Lauren was 20 when she had Scottie and he's now mid to late 20's, then that makes her mid to late 40ish...and, so now that Fen has been aged, she can be like she's never aged at all...agreed...it is noticeable and dumb...not consistent at all...not real, it's a soap...

Lauren had Scotty with her second husband after the attempted romance with Danny and marriage to Paul. No way could Lauren be on her second marriage and have Scotty when she was only 16 based on Lauren's age and 18 based on Tracey Bregman's age. |
