Reports are now surfacing about Eric's new contract with Y & R. It is for three years (3) and a compromise between what he wanted for salary and what they wanted to pay. But the bottom line is VICTOR is back for the next three years and that's good news for Y & R fans and the show.

YEAH........... even though I don't like some of the stuff Victor does, I do, deep down, like him and without him in the show...... who can everyone beat up on all the time?

:) I am glad they agreed. Victor, Nicki, Jack and Katherine ARE the show. The other players are important but not the attraction. So the order is restored and the show goes on.

Amen to this ! I could not have stuck to this soap if it were just the X and Y generation. Been watching this one for way too long, but would have left it pronto. My time is more valuable to me than the mindless ones and nothing else.

I am very glad that Eric Braden will be returning to Y&R, but I wouldn't rest too easy now that Victor Newman is returning to GC!

I agree Gencor. Victor will be back with a vengeance! I, for one, will be interested in how Nikki reacts.

Thanks but we knew this last week. Somebody saw Sharon Case and she said Victor wasn't going anywhere. Heard 3 year contract too.

You make an excellent point. Nikki knows about some of what Victor has been up to, but she ain't seen nothing yet! Newman is going to be attacked like World War II and the Camen Island debacle is yet to surface all out. When Victor returns Nikki is going to be faced with alot of truth that she just didn't know about. Jill and Gloria lost millions because of Victor Newman and Nikki don't know anything about any of that. On top of what she does know I just wonder if she will still want to be his little doormat.

amen to that it was pathetic to think of how badly he was treated and for anyone to think y & r would be any good without victor and nikki it was insane i hope they do something about the storylines because it is getting old all this dark and evil it isn't the reason i watched for so many years the main thing that attracted me to the show was it was more realistic than the others now i am having my doubts whether i can continue to watch victor staying helps a bit but enough already with the garbage we have had to endure over the last few years the worst ever was the pairing of phynck an dnow rumours of a pairing of sharon and adam oh nooooo i cannot stomach this

I'm glad Victor is comming back. I don't agree with alot of the things he does, especially how badly he treated Colleen and then in th end, she was the one who saved his life. I do feel however, that he was feeling a bit of remorse when he took the rose and laid it on her grave.
When he was speaking into the camera and it showed all the flashbacks of his life years earlier, was that when he was going off the show? I know it's taped @3 weeks in advance so I guess at that time, he wasn't suppose to return. I did enjoy watching them though. Can't believe how much different he looked. And Katherine, she was beautiful. I wish they'd show more scenes of past days.
