I mean is anyone surprised by Sharon being so nice and accepting to Adam. Cause I'm not. |

I think you got a very good point Mem, I love my girl, but her weak point really is psycho men. It seems like she wants to help or save them, but that doesn't work. |

She trust people way to easily and she tries to see the good. First their was Matt Clark. He seemed like an okay guy but he was a drug dealing rapist. Sharon even told Nick that Matt can be really charming and persuasive which he was. Matt was able to hide who really was for about two years. Everyone loved him and the only person that didn't like him was Nick and well you know the reason. Then there was Cameron. Sharon met him at a really bad time in her life. Sharon just thought he would be a one-night stand somebody to help her forget everything. I think when they slept together Sharon called Nick's name(ewwwwww I love my girl but that is GROSS.) Then after that Cameron beats her. Sharon thought she could come home and that be that. But oh no Psycho Cameron showed up and was obsessed. Just like Matt was they wanted her. Of course Sharon does not know how bad these men are only the audience. Sharon is like catnip to Psycho Men. She is the perfect prey the perfect victim........  . When she finally does figure out how crazy they are it is too late. They have already done their damage. Hopefully the Adam and Sharon thing does not happen. But I do not want to see Sharon go through this again. I mean we got Matt Clark twice and Crazy Cameron I think that was enough.  Mem I just hate all the crazy men the writers have stuck Sharon with over the years.After all the horrible things they have put her through why are they putting her with that psycho Adam?The girl is just a trusting soul that only sees the good in everyone.She is so naive and she needs to learn to look beyond all the phony smiles and charms.I am praying that she will not fall for Adam because if she does she is just headed for another heartache and as crazy and evil as Adam is he could do her bodily harm too.I would not put any thing past him.I thought Sharon was going to become stronger and get a new/old love in her life.Why can't he be some one other than another psycho?Sharon needs a man that loves and protects her and only has her well being in mind.Please give her a man that she can trust and love and who will make her happy.Like Diego or Malcolm.But please writers not Adam.Anybody but Adam.

Great posts...I tend to agree with Sharon being very trusting and thinking she's safe when, in fact, viewers are shown otherwise...but, like you pointed out in your last sentence, you "fear that's going to be no different with Adam", I think about that this way: I think that since Adam is spending time with her, talking, communicating (which she loves and seems to crave - with Nick, but he's 'married')...beFRIENDING her...I feel he'll keep on being "there for her" and Sharon will feel the need to "move it forward" and Sharon will do the pursuing this time...alas, poor Sharon, again the label fits: victim...

I am dreaming of her rejecting Adam, that would make me very happy - but I hope that doesn't turn into another rape storyline for Sharon...you know the writers will do it. It's true Sharon needs a friend right now after all the loss she suffered, but Adam ain't it. Where is Neil?! Oh and I think Clic mentioned that Jack tends to attract them, too...only difference is Jack drives some of them into being psychos, whereas psychos are attracted to Sharon

Sharon is incredibly compassionate and does have the ability to see the good in people. it defiantly not a bad quality but i agree it does attract some crazy people. |
