I agree with you about many of the things you critiqued. However, as far as Victor and Nikki are concerned, it never surprises me that they continue to get back together again - - it's like an old habit that will continue on, probably, as long as they remain on this soap.

As far as her getting the ring - - I thought it was sweet that Victor had it made to look like the ring that Kay had given her. So far she is holding back on any real commitment, so why not take another gift from him?

We never know now, if they will ever really get married again - - at least not until any spoilers come out on that.

You summed up perfectly my exact feelings about Adam. It's not that a villian is never redeemable. But the things Adam did does makes him a sociopath, and that is NEVER redeemable. Not without major consequences, which he has yet to suffer.

One could say that Micheal was a pychopath as well, but he went to jail for a long time and then came back. The writers didn't have this joker trying to rape Christine, and then two weeks later, trying to make us feel sorry for him. Not gonna happen.
