I agree, annyhall - I love Jill's hair and
I think it suits her both professionally and also,
personally, for her age. I think Lauren has a
beautiful face, however, her hair seems to
take away from her pretty looks. I think all Lauren
needs is a nice hairstyle that suits her age.
I think a nice hairstyle for Lauren will make her
look 10 years younger and more beautiful that
what she already is!

I actually love Tracey E Bregman's hair style and color. She is one of my favorites and have always loved her sense of fashion & style.

For one, do not believe it is a wig.

I agree. Lauren has needed a make-over for years now. Her hair is a real horror. She really needs a more appropriate hair style and her wardrobe needs to be more appropriate too. You can have a great face and body and STILL dress appropriately that is figure flattering. As someone else said, Lauren and Amber should not be dressing the same! Actually, the character of Amber is even dressing inappropriately because from her B&B history, Amber is more like early 30s, not early-mid 20s like Daniel. But they dress and have Amber act like a teeny-bopper and she so isn't!

But back to Lauren. It is very true that the actors and actresses have to have permission from TPTB to cut their hair. TB, JW, MTS have all given interviews stating the same thing over the years (Jess Walton has a FABULOUS hair style, btw. Love it too!). Y&R has always had their actresses with long hair, but even moreso now, it seems since MAB took over (LML let MTS cut her hair into that fabulous do when Nikki was running for the Senate - it looked awesome!) Even Josh Morrow, back in the LML days, said that he wanted to shave off his scruff, but they wanted him to keep it, which he didn't mind as he didn't like to shave anyway.

If I'm not mistaken Amber & Daniel are about 30. Lauren is 46. I am really surprised that this thread didn't get closed due to the bash of the actors/characters age/looks.

I for one believe that whatever job I'm paid to do, if they want me to have long hair, wear a particular outfit, I suck it up and do it.

I dunno, maybe this thread will be closed, but I thought talking about hairstyles and wardrobe of the characters is allowed? Did that guideline change?

Anyway, Daniel isn't 30. He's like 2-3 years older than Lily. Amber is definitely older, like early 30s, as her B&B character has been around a while.

For anyone that wants to know the realistic facts: Daniel is 30; he was born 1979 & Amber is 31; she was born in 1978. (These are the actor/actress real ages.)

Just get on the Cast List Navigation page and you will see the date of birth of each actor.

Now if you all are talking about the make-belief characters ages, well.... we'd all just have to laugh because they age in a time-warp.
