The going thing right now with the Hollywood types, is hair extensions. She probably has either extensions or a hair weave. That's because the show wants most of them with long hair. The actresses have to get approval from not only their hairdressers on set but also the producers to get a haircut under this new regime. Anyone notice how both Chloe and Mac came into the show with short styles and now are growing their hair longer or have extensions? Did you also notice that the women usually have to have some of their hair laying in front of their shoulders? Apparently Y&R only thinks women with long hair are sexy and feminine. |

Thru all the years, I have seen Lauran with many different hair styles. She has worn her hair back up with clips. She has also had it cut shorter. She has worn a braid aboung to top like bangs when can visited another area. |

Lauren's hair has taken over her whole being!! She is very tiny and her hair over powers her. She looks like a red headed Dolly Parton without the chest! It has got to be a wig.. too much.. |

I'm pretty certain that Cloe was supposed to be dressed up as Jane Fonda - when Jane played "Barbarella" back in the 60s. That would also explain the thigh-high boots and "ray-gun" My thoughts exactly! I was in high school when that movie came out. It was considered pretty naughty back then! |

Tracey Bregman, ironically who plays Lauren, was interviewed around Christmas last year in a blog for about an hour. Th subject of her hair came up and she says she had wanted to cut it for a long time, but had to get approval now and it was basically just a bit shorter. She is the one who said you had to get approval from the haidresser and the producer. She also joked that sometimes she feels like she has country western hair because in real life her hair is naturally quite curly and when they try to straighten it, it gets big. |

I wish I looked have as good as Lauren, but, I personally feel, that a when a woman hits 35, she need to start shortening her hair. At least Lauren's hair is styled, I have seen plenty of women mid to late 40's with long hair down to their butt, who walk like they can't turn their head right or left, in fear they might mess it up! To me, they look like old ladies, trying to look young. When I finally cut my hair, which was a nice bob, I felt younger. When I am looking for a new Hair do, I always check out Soap Magazines. To Me Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) from General Hospital, is one of the best looking Mature Ladies, even Gloria (Judith Chapman) is a fantastic looking lady. Both of these women a very stylish women and hot!!! Nikki, Jill, and Nina, take note!! |

I agree with many of the post here, Lauren's hair is too much, being the mature woman that she is. The way she dresses too is for a much younger woman. We sometimes forget even though Lauren has a young son she is along the age of Tracey. She really is overdue for a nice stylish haircut. BTW someone mentioned Jill's hair. I think Jill has the best head of hair on Y&R I love her hair cut. She looks both classy and business like. Love her hair. |
