Adam & Sharon - how ridiculous is this?

Is it just me? When I see Adam, acting almost like a normal person, bonding with Sharon, I just can't stand it. I know it's just a soap opera, but this man stole Sharon's baby from her - he is utterly immoral, evil and cruel. How can the writers then make him out to be having a "human" relationship with anyone. It is just too ridiculous and very hard to take. |

I think this is how the writers are trying to redeem Adam in our eyes. He is more honest with Sharon than he has been since he started out with Heather. Who knows, maybe he will develop real feelings for her and try to get her baby back somehow. Unfortunately, Adam is also an opportunist and will use Nick's obvious feelings for Sharon against him. Nick is a little late complaining about Adam having influence on Noah. How long was Noah at the ranch with Adam under the same roof? Seemed okay to Nick at that time. |

And just because of his so called Normal/Plight prelateship with Sharon, I guess were to see this as his redeeming qualities(HELL NAW)  not for me, his redemption as far as I'm concern is being found out. But it's obvious he is MAB & Writer Paul Rauch favorite new man so we will see him for a while. |

All I want is for him to confess to what he has done and then mayabe I'll start watching again. I can't stomach this nonsense. There are no spoilers about this mess coming to an end. I hate the whole storyline. |

I agree with you 100 percent. It is ridiculous. I wonder if anyone will ever find out about all the bad things Adam did? |

I do think maybe he will feel so guilty "if he has a sole". to somehow anonymously send sharon some thing that starts her to investigate I only hope that is what is going to happen. I still hate him |

when will they ever quit picking on sharon every thing bad always happens to her 3 dead babies come on this is very sad and ive been watching this show for 30 years couldnt be more disapointed been thinking about giving it up give her baby back |

I just hope the writers don't rush this "redemption". That would just make Sharon look like a ditz in the haters eyes. |

The writers have depicted Sharon is a most unfavorable way. They've totally trashed her and she doesn't deserve what they've done to her character. She has done nothing any more wrong than anybody on that show. She has a good heart, more than I can say about most of GC, and she gets trashed for this? It's sickening, and to boot, Adam befriending her. Nick better watch his back if he knows what's good for him. Adam is going to wreak havoc at NE once again. You can bet on that. |

I could care less if MAB and PR are fawning all over this socipathic reincarnation of Adam, this storyline is abhorrent. FAIL.

Your post echos what a lot of Y&R bloggers have been saying about this new writing team. Writers like HS and PR don't "get" good characters and don't know how to write for them, so they trash them. This has been done with several characters on the show, IMO, Sharon being the most obvious. I also see a lot of deep hatred for women characters in the writing...pretty sick given the head writer is a woman!
