I never thought I would be on to do this,but here goes. I am writing the very last scene of the show,it is a Heart Stealer!

Victor & Nikki are in the barn togoether confessing their love for each other. Nikki bends over and reaches into a box,she has the perfect gift for Vic before they depart for Belgium,yes she made sure that he can take this present with him. It is a beautiful little puppy that was saved from the puppy mill says Nichole. Vic is overcome with joy,why it is identical to Zaputo.. Tears roll down the cheeks of a man whose soul seems to be lost in time. This must of been so hard for (Eric) to play not knowing if yet he is to return to a soap/set show tha the has loved for over 30 years......Let's name the puppy maybe the name (Second Chance) would be good. Nichole smiles as she gently once again tells the love of her life Yes I Do Love YOU!

Usually this would not make me cry ,but hey I am human and yes I cried....these two share a history and I for one, hope they both can come back with many more years ahead of them,not to only full fill their enjoyment of acting but to make me as well as many many viewers happy......

Eric & Melody you played this scene with love,courage and grace not to mention class BRAVO!

This was a GREAT scene!!I am so glad that these two will be staying with the show. They do have wonderful chemistry together and maybe the characters have finally realized that they can't live without each other. The new puppy is a doll!

Pls do not get me wrong,but my take on the new puppy,well maybe just maybe the writers were trying to make a wrong a right.....they knew when they killed Zaputo off a lot of fans were mad...I was, now they give back.....a new puppy...when that puppy kissed Nikki and Nikki kissed him back ...Victor had the biggest smile on his face.. so did I...

Makes me miss my dog she has been gone for a very long time still not over it.....Boo that was her name

I am glad that Eric Braden and Melody Thomas Scott will be staying for sure, but I saw this today and I have to say if this was three years ago, I might be moved. However, I have watched Victor just sweep the floor with this woman and to see her become dominated by this man again and her being subsrevient to him again is just not there for me anymore. They have this love/hate stuff and they have had it for years. I am not moved. I just feel so sorry for Nikki for being so stupid. I just don't see any of this as romantic in the least. Nikki and Victor have been down this "love of my life" road so many times, that it has just been done to death. I can't believe in them anymore. I think that they have become a joke! Today is just more proof that on this show the "love of your life" is like a death sentence. It means that it is okay to mouth this off to a woman and she is just suppose to forget that you have cheated on her, lied to her, abused her and swept the floor with her and she is just suppose to turn all of that around and say I love you for it? No way! I am not buying anymore Nikki and Victor!

I write this post with much sadness. I liked this couple before now. That old black magic has lost its's spell. Nikki & Victor have lost that magic of a loving couple for me, and it is something that I cannot regain--no matter how, when or where they reunite. The breakup and makeup cycle has been overdone with this couple, and there is just nothing there for me to watch or enjoy. Victor's abusive behavior to Nikki took away any goodwill to have him reunite with her. Ultimately & obviously, they are the only two who can play opposite each other satisfaorily. Any romantic chemistry between these two has been lost on me, but this is just my opinion.

I also take into consideration the number of other people's lives (who have been involved with this couple) that have been wrecked. What happened to them??? My question has always been: If you know that this couple is going to reunite, why involve them with other people. They have left some real messes behind them--especially when each of them moves on and back to each other.

I have not yet seen today's scenes in this episode, but it won't make any difference as to how I now feel about this couple. The gestures of reconciliation are too little and too late. Good luck to them since they are gong to reunite anyway!!
