I think they are to old to keep playing games with each other if they love each other then stay together the whole together then not together is old for me.I dont think nick and sharon are soulmates i would like for them to stay apart forever and for sharon to find a real man who deserves to have her and all that she can give.

Ah, this is just a stupid soap. The darn writers are going to do what they will with these characters and if they have to keep playing ping pong with each other,as characters I love Nikki and Victor and hope the writers keep them together. I know real life isn't always a neat little package with a bow on top, but that's how I like my stories. JMHO, of course. I know others will disagree, and that's okay. That's what we're here for. To throw it all out there.

I think they should just leave them as the older & wiser couple, offering advice & support to all their younger friends, kids & grand kids.

PLEASE, Stop having them break up all the time, so that Victor can marry everyone he messes with, it's old & played out already.

Heavens all of these Posters telling about their private love lives.. lol...as though I were attacking them personally.....I don't know how to make it much plainer... this is not about love and romance and people never being too old for it....... it is about Victor and Nikki breaking up and going back together... over and over and over..

I agree with you, they should be the older couple giving advice, much like Katherine, on how to stay happy.

The thing for me is that I don't see their issues that they've had in the past as qualifying for "star-crossed" lovers type break ups. It's not like fate steps in and tears them apart.

In my opinion, it's usually been Victor's pride that has broke them up. Almost every time they have divorced or broken up it's because he's either screwed her over one way or another because he was too proud to have her do well in the buisness or personal world, or he felt that she betrayed him and their family, even though she'd done something that he would do twice on Sunday! They did have affairs in the past too that broke them up as well. Just never seems like it's "ill fated" or "opposed by the stars". It's just always been their own pride and stupid mistakes.

I do agree though that it would be nice if they could find ways for them to stick together now that they've come this far. I don't think however, that they should be dolling out any advice on what it takes for a marriage to survive LOL Because they haven't found that yet. Hopefully this time though.

Your topic says "too old to still be star crossed lovers" that give alot of us the idea you are meaning they are to old to do that sort of stuff LOL..So thats why you got some post debating it. I am glad you cleared it up though. Was beginning to think after a 23 year old marriage and I'm being 41 i was beginning to think we were to old..LOL.

Seriously, Most people finally got what I was saying... and
agree this has gone on long enough between Victor and Nikki, the breaking up over and over and over.. remarrying over and over and over.. they are too old to be acting this way and very poor role models for their children. If it doesn't work this time... FORGET ABOUT IT!!!!

I think Victor & Nikki are perfect for each other, star crossed or not. I think love is wasted on the young, and people never appreciate love & passion until they get much older.
