A heart replacement...and only a small "band-aid"-like gauze square to cover the surgery??? His chest has to be opened to do the removal and replacement of the new heart...his rib cage has to be spread open and he should havd more than just that small patch...AND plenty of bruising and being wrapped around his ribs...

No wonder he's walking around already...guess the heart's were very small...(even tho Colleen had a 'huge heart' where feelings are concerned and TGVN does not)...I've read that a person's heart is the size of their fist...then again, Colleen did have small hands...

LOL... they can't find what VN doesn't have.. lol......

I thought shows had medical advisors... the heart is in the
middle of the chest..... and it takes at least 6 to 8 weeks to recover, if not more...... but this is Soap Land... we never know how much time has passed.

It's almost stupid.... obviously written for the actor's
departure...

Ahhh..yet another assault on our intelligence. My sisters incision was several (more like eight)inches longer! And it wasn't covered by a little gauze patch. There were stitches and staples, and wraps.. and of course she did not get out of the hospital two days later.

I hear ya! My dad had open heart surgery just to remove blockages and he was hooked up to all sorts of machines, he had tubes coming out of his neck, he was propped up in his bed surrounded by pillows etc so he couldn't move and they wouldn't allow him to wake up for the first 24 hours! Then he was moving very slowly for the next couple of days but I must say on about the 4th day they had him up and walking - slowly!! He was in the hospital for a week, but he didn't have a heart replacement, he just had bypass surgery so - go figure! And his incision was from his neck to nearly his stomach and he was black, blue, yellow - all the colours of the rainbow! Stitches and staples with lots of gauze and tape!!

Not to be funny but there are people whose organs are all reversed from most normal people, i.e. the heart, etc.are situated toward the right side, rather than to the left, etc., etc. The organs are perfectly normal, it's just that when they're reversed.

Another thing, that boggled my mind, and I know this is soapland, but pleease can't they be more realistic? For example, Victor beds Nikki. For crying out loud. How unrealistic is that? And wouldn't they send him to rehab directly from the hospital, and not after he's been gallovanting all over town, before he decides to leave town for rehab.

Just the fact that the two of them were lying in bed together made me cringe. Shouldn't they have been lying together on a slab in the morgue with toe tags instead !!??
And that ring that he gave her - a little 'small', don't you think? After all of the things that he has put her down for in the past, that rock should be the size of a grapefruit.
