He is a complete failure! It is a good thing that he still has some charm because he certainly doesn't have much else going for him. He is just about the most ignorant man that I have ever seen. Jack Abbott is a fool, living a fools life in a fools world. I have never seen a man miss so many good opportunites, both in his professional life and in his personal life. He is a complete screw up. Even when he was a much younger man, he was nothing more than never do anything guy. He drank too much and chased women! Jack, for all of his years, has still learned nothing! He is just a spoiled brat who had a father that was too good to him and forgave his idiocy! Other than that he is nothing more than a child.

Yes, some think he is charming BUT I have NEVER been one of them. NOPE, instead I think he is SMARMY. He is the kind of man who loves to get one over on women, to use them for his own selfish needs. NOT "only" has he done this in his past witness the treatment of his poor pregnant(and "duped" because he did dupe PATTI into marrying him just to become the PRESIDENT of JABOT)wife PATTI who so loved and trusted him and yet he STOMPED all over her heart not only having affairs with the various models including DIANE JENKINS(a future baby momma)but others as well but after PATTI lost her baby promised her another child only to immediately call his doctor to schedule a vasectomy). Witness his treatment of PATTYCAKES years later when he so callouslly treated her like someone to just throw away and not a person. DIANE JENKINS was but a mere possession to be fought over by him & TGVN as was NIKKI another casualty. SHARON, please I don't think he really ever loved her one bit but was just trying to get over bing humiliated(he thought by another man or should I say another NEWMAN this time the son instead of the father). NOPE, not charming not in my book and I won't even talk about him in business. He is SMARMY as a SNAKE! JMO! Edited to say that I do think PB does a great job and I loved him years ago on AMC as DR. CLIFF WARNER!

I hated him as Cliff Warner, but must admit I just love ole Smilin Jack.
