I know I'm about to get a lot of crap tossed my way 4 saying this but I think that Adam can be redeemed. If Y&R can redeem Victor after all of the crap that he has done over the years; Michael after what he did to Christine Romalatti; Kevin after all of the crap that he did to Colleen and I'm not even gonna talk about Jack. But if all of these rotten souls can be changed for the better, then Adam can too. I think he's gonna have to do some careful and shady manuevering in order to put Faith back with Sharon, but I think that he can be redeemed. I also think that Sharon might be the key to that redemption. I think that she is really changing him and I would like to see a pairing between the two. I love the duality that Michael Muhaney(or however the heck you spell his last name) is given to the character of Adam...I don't want to see him go. I think that Nick and Victoria are spoiled brats, and both them and Victor and Adam have all played a roll into the person that Adam has become. He is a generational character- the son of Victor and Hope- and he should be redeemed without being written off. Hopefully we will get some better writers soon or at least let the ones that we have develope some talent. Man these writers suck bootie !

When will he get caught.... It will come back to bite that what I really want to see. especially when they find out that Faith is really Sharon....

I agree with your whole post ngirl26. I think if the other characters have turned themselves around or at least partially around, then Adam can too. I think he will develop real feelings for Sharon that she may or may not reciprocate. Either way you can see that he is drawn to her compassion and kind nature.

Everyone has ying and yang in their nature....good and evil. Circumstances often dictate which side we show to the outside world.

And yeah the writers do suck bootie!! We need a gagging emoticon.

The only way he could possibly get redemption, would be if he had some kind of tumor on his brain. That worked for Jana. What he did is totally unforgivable!!

Sometimes I feel conflicted about Adam. He is clearly a villan and done some horrible things. However, when he is sticking it to spoiled Nick and Victoria, I catch myself cheering for him.

You are right though if Victor, Jack, Jana, Kevin and Michael can be reedemed, why not Adam? Perhaps Sharon will change him for the better. There is always hope!

To me it is disgusting that TPTB will use SHARON & her compassion once again and for the very man who KIDNAPPED her little FAITH. Just give her baby back to her! i think and have been saying this for sometime now that ADAM will be the one to bring back FAITH because of his feelings for SHARON and at the same time he will be the HERO! This will eat NICK alive that ADAM is getting so close to SHARON whether they are intimate or not(I think SHARON won't feel that for him)but they will remain confidantes. ADAM will "frame"/set up either DR. TAYLOR or ASHLEY to take the fall much like JACK set up ADAM to take the fall alone for the diary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!JMO!

IMO there can be no redemption of Adam as long as he is keeping Sharon away from her baby. It is sickening to see him spend time with Sharon and watch her suffering and he could end it all but does nothing. Sharon sat there and told the man that she has lost 3 children and he did nothing. The sick part is that he keeps seeking her out and hanging around. You would think he would want to stay as far away as possible but no, Adam is actually building a friendship with Sharon. IA
that somehow Adam will attempt to lay all the blame on crazy Ashley and evil Dr. Taylor. That other redeemed people were made to pay for their crimes and they owned their wrong doing, until Adam does that there can be no redemption.

Adam Redemption (Humm) Can he be Expose or Electrocuted Now that’s redeeming for me. They're already Using Sharon for his River Redemption Road,(So he's not going anywhere) He makes me SICK Can't stand the bastard.

I definitely do not want to see romantic involvement with Sharon and I want him to to get that baby to her BUT.....I am enjoying the complexity of this character. He came to town a good guy, thinking perhaps he could fit in to TGVN's family but his new found siblings wiped their golden feet on the country boy. He did a complete vengeful turn around. I want hin to be redeemed somehow and trip up Victoria occasionally!!
If his Daddy can be so loved by viewers...and he has done awful, mean, rotten things...then Adam can find his way to redemption also.

This is how I see it too Flygirl. The writers are in love with MM's Adam and so they will USE Sharon's kindness to try and redeem him, while simultaneously trying to get fans to root for him because he's sticking it to Nick and Victoria. But here's my thing: Adam is morally repugnant and can't be redeemed. What Nick and Victoria have done over the years does not hold a candle to the inhumanity Adam has gleefully displayed in his torture of Ashley for months and the killing of her child, and now stealing Sharon's. I don't see any comparison to what Nick, Victoria, Jack has done to THAT?!

Adam is a sociopath incapable of genuine human empathy because if he was, he would have done more than have a momentary laspse of guilt while boo-hooing thinking about Hope and CONFESS to what he has done and just take his lumps. Michael and Kevin have BOTH paid dearly for their crimes (Jana - yeah, they threw in that ridiculous brain tumour story to keep her around . That's how you redeem a character: make them PAY with the severity being equal to what they've done. Michael spent "6 years" in jail for his attempted rape of Christine (although he's still extremely shady and constantly breaks the law still ). Kevin was beaten in jail within an inch of his life for what he did to Lily (and was late payback, IMO, as well for trying to kill Colleen and not paying for that). Characters that do heinous things NEED to pay and pay dearly for them before most fans will say they're redeemed. There is no other way to even attempt to redeem Adam except have the truth come out and give Sharon and Nick back their daughter.
