Keep in mind he was to exit the show and it was said that the writers would write him in a way that would be distasteful. (may not be the exact wording but something of that nature)

Hi all - I've been lurking around here for some time and decided to have a little fun. I was wondering - does anyone remember the name of Victor's first wife...the one he kept locked in a cellar in the basement? I've been racking my brain trying to remember, but it's just gone.

JULIA who was NOT locked in the basement/bomb shelter. TGVN locked the man that he thought JULIA was having an affair with, he was a photographer and JULIA was a model for JABOT. JULIA was preggers and TGVN thought he couldn't be the baby daddy because he had a vasectomy and oops it turned out it didn't work. JULIA found him, they escaped, she tripped and fell and had a miscarriage and later ole VIC found out he was the baby daddy. End of marriage number one!

The writers probably had a fit when they heard that he resigned. Now they will have to change their whole plan. I am wondering if Adam was being "groomed" to take his place as chief villain. Maybe we'll get a better story now that EB is staying?

Loved the walk down memory lane. I too remembered it being a man locked in the basement of Victor's house but got drawn into the discussion that it was his wife. I always thought it was Paul for some reason though. Good memory just short. Glad that was cleared up yesterday.
The styles just killed me, my husband and I had a laugh.
Old smile Jack was quite the handsome devil back in the day. Boy those blue eyes were gorgeous. Victor has gotten better looking but I think Jack hasn't aged so nicely. Liked him better when he was younger.
As for Victor not having any regrets, I wasn't the least bit surprised. The devil doesn't regret.
